ok lush people...what is your biggest fear?
either snakes, or getting old and not being able to pull a guy
Loneliness! That is different then being alone btw...
I guess my biggest fear would be something happening to my children.
To die and not be remembered by anyone.
I have a fear of living an unfulfilling life, just getting by from day to day with no purpose or aim.
And pirates. I hate pirates.
Getting burned alive. That doesn't sound like fun. Maybe live dismemberment. OUCH!
MARK
Snakes and extreme heights
I never had a fear of heights until a few years ago when I was on a tram at a ski resort. The wind was really blowing that day and we were swinging side to side a lot. I nearly passed out. My husband practically carried me off there. Then I had to come back down...
my kids or grandkids getting hurt, sick, or killed
For my car to go off a bridge and sink in water and not be able to get out of the car. I keep an automatic center punch in my car to break the windows, just in case.
Being alone and never finding someone to spend my life with.
The decisions we make dictate the life we have.
Follow your dreams, for those that do not will only try to discourage others.
I forgot to say my fear...living without romance
I am so damn scared of my fear that..i wont even let it come out in front of me...as my own words... so pass...
I think death is the biggest fear for all of us, am I right?
There are fates far worse than death. Sometimes death brings peace.
Its not who i am, but what i do that defines me.
It may be cliche' but for me it's the loss of a child.
When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser. Socrates really mine is fear of falling...*shudders*
worms and butterflies
being limited in life
I have a few one is snakes, another is my woman dying, and a third is going deaf (I love music)
Snakes !! I have a big phobia with snakes up until a couple of years ago i would sometimes awaken in the night and fear that a snake was lying on my bed in fact i convinced myself that it was there all coiled up, i would lie perfectly still for hours fearing that if i dropped to sleep and moved it would bite me.
There's a couple people here who say losing a sense (hearing, sight) is their biggest fear. I have all my senses, but (1. I have a neurological disability that's pretty darn undiagnosable, though I have received several diagnosis' (2. My senses are "odd", in that I need a lot of sensory stimulation to meet my sensory threshold (not via sex, Lushies ;-). Having atypical senses, whether it be through not having a sense, or through other means, is something you'll eventually adjust to, if that should ever happen. That's the thing about fear, though, it tends to be rather irrational.
I have a fear of falling, and also a fear of rejection. Both pretty common fears, I believe.
