That happened to me. I play guitar, Drums, Trumpet and I sing. I got, out of the blue, a very severe case of Multiple Sclerosis and lost my ability to do all that, plus, walk, plus, have bladder and bowell control, speak clearly, see clearly, and have erectile function. That's just the beginning. It's frightening. It's sad. It's life changing. But as luck had it, I am currently fully recovered. It makes doing all those things so much sweeter!!!

Death is a big one but as I get older and closer to it I try to accept it rather than dwell on it. I would be more frightened of becoming mentally or physically disabled. I watched them hoisting my girlfriend around who had Multiple Sclerosis and my father who couldn't walk after a heart operation. They both willed themselves to death. When it comes to a revulsion type fear though poisonous snakes are very high on my list and I have met a few.
