Pen name. One half is my given name, the other is not. Let you guess on if Im a Rowan or a Thorn.
This nickname ManDawg was given me by my many lady friends, whom all would tell me I was nothing but a ManDawg.
So after getting on the internet it became my pen name/screen name. Of course my southern slang of the word dog is dawg so that is how that played a role in my using it as I do.
Absolutely nothing. A long-ago made-up name with a nice sound.
Which is maybe why people keep addressing me by any of the following instead:
Cynthia
Curia
Caria
Cara
Ceria
Cania
Claudia
Cecilia
Carina
Clara
Sybil (really?)
Lydia (close enough)
Sarah (why?)
Maria (no.)
Maybe I should give y'all's auto corrects a break and change my username to "Anna" or something. 😶
Mine isn’t a reference to me, it’s my stories. Nisha is the character around which all the other characters orbit; all the different stories have interconnected characters somehow connected to Nisha. People assume it’s me, which is fine, so I use it as a nom de plume, but it ain’t my name. 🙂

Hist Buff says it all. I love history and the vast majority of all my stories (here and elsewhere) are set in a different time period. I'm a history buff in that sense. I'm especially fond of that classic film noir era in mid-20th century.
The Oxford definition of "buff" says, "A person who is very interested in a particular subject or activity and knows a lot about it." It does not say "who knows ALL about it". My stories are first and foremost sexual fantasy, not anything that pretends to be 100% historically accurate. As long as the readers have a wonderful journey in a different time and place, and myself as I write the story, then it is all I ask.
