Yep. My opinion of this "sex addiction" excuse is that it's just that: An excuse. Just like all those Hollywood types that get busted with drugs - it's not the person's fault. It's the drugs' fault. They say that all the person needs is a little rehab and he'll be just fine... Just like Tiger. It's not HIS fault... he's an addict! And we all know that those "addicts" are helpless, right?
Sheeeeit.

I actually believe that Sex Addiction exists. Whether Tiger has it, is a completely different matter that I can't judge. But sex addiction is when someone will fuck a person they aren't even attracted to, just because they need sex.

I agree with Lady and MrNudie but, I'm having a problem with what they now say is another "addiction". I know that people used to never believe that depression was a mental problem. Or that gambling is an addiction.

after a perusal within the hallowed cyber-halls of wikipedia (which is the trusted authority on EVERYTHING), it looks like there's a lot of resistance within the psychological community to buy into the concept of sexual addiction. You do see a lot of mention of hypersexual activity and tendencies as symptoms of OCD, bi-polar disorder, and other mental illnesses or instabilities.
I tend to agree with that assessment as opposed to "poor guy, he doesn't want to fuck the equivalent of a cheerleader squad every week, but he just can't help himself...and oh, how his soul is tortured!"

I just hope that Elin does what's best for her - it was never her "fault" he did what he did.
Each person is responsible for their OWN actions and when those poorly chosen actions reflect back to their significant other/spouse/relationship, that is when they really have to OWN UP and be the better person! IMO, secrets will eventually come out when there are at least 2 people who know about it!
