Getting a friend request, accepting it, messaging them to say hello, getting no reply, and then unfriended two days later.
I never cease to exclaim "WTF?"

I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?

The profiles with the full-strength background images, making the text much harder to read. Inevitably it's the profiles with the most text to read that have them! Why write all of that, and then make it hard for people to read? I think it makes the whole page unappealing.
People that aggressively launch themselves into a cyber chat with me
Forum thread hogs who monopolize a thread to the extent that it is impossible to post under other than that one person.
The fact when you block some one, they are not totally blocked. Blocked means that person gone, not to be seen again. Yet you see all there post in
mutual friends walls.

Also wish when you are blocked and you have sent an email that something would come up letting you know that you are blocked,so you dont keep sending mail.

Also that you cannot put yourself to off line! Yes you can set away, but as soon as you sign in, they can tell your here.

Now all these pet peeves or suggestions, anyone reading them?

I have had this to happen to me , but from woman. Makes me thing they just wanted to see what was on my page, if you have it set just for friends.

I totally agree with you, and right now my page is guilty of that, one option would be to give us the option to change our font color. That would help.

When someone starts a chat and abruptly leaves without an explanation.

this also happens when I do roleplays sometimes..

I hate being left hanging in a roleplay..

Unfortunately because of the large porn ads I can't read Lush at work anymore. When work is slow I've loved pulling up Lush and reading some stories. I can't do that anymore and I only get to read a fraction of the stories I used to.

this is my problem too.. I can't read in a public transport or even in the living room since there's a chance someone will pass by and see the ads on the side..

Huge problem. Can't even read who has posted on their wall; sometimes can't read title of their stories. Just distracting and so much of the person's personality is lost.
Somebody who follows me, presumably because of my stories, but doesn't seem to have ever voted or commented on any.

If you like then that much, wouldn't it make sense to drop a nice comment or vote or two?
Those fellows whose profile say their age is 30's but write and act like their 60! lol jealous? hell ya
People who set all these conditions on their profile description, such as, I don't talk to men or I don't talk to women, etc. Get real people, saying hello is just a courteous thing to do. I find intelligent conversation is stimulating, it does not have to be sexual in nature, not everyone is interested in your dick size, breast size, or whatever. I will speak to anyone. If the conversation turns to something I am uncomfortable with, I can always click off. That is just me, like it or not, I really don't care.

What's the problem with posting under a certain person?

I don't have many complaints .. you get what you pay for and I pay nothing to be here. But if there is one thing that annoys me it would be those writers that have 'blocked' someone who had the 'utter nerve' to give one of their post a score lower than '5'. How completely childish! I suppose those writers believe their work is so superior that it simply shouldn't be scored .. in which case they should just say they don't want scores .. period. Take the scoring option off and just be thrilled at the 37 followers that read your story. It is just so phony to block people from scoring. If there is someone that is giving a score of '1' when you have 35 scores of '5' .. complain to management.

I would further recommend that authors who have anyone blocked from scoring should not be allowed to submit stories into Lush competitions. That is simply .. cheating. Not that I think the judges give a rip what scores and comments are left, but still there is the look that 'those' writers are being given an advantage. If I am not mistaken, the rules of the competitions are supposed to make certain that no writer has an advantage over the others.

I don't think it matters weather you pay to be here or not. But I do pay, and I feel the same way.

I totally agree with this. I have had this done to me, It is so childish to block someone for them giving you a 4 on a story. Not all stories deserve a 5. I have gotten to the point now, If I cant honestly give a 5, I wont score it. Me.. if your gonna give me a 4, im fine, just tell me why so I can correct what I did to get that 4, I'snt that the way we learn? Just my

Also our blocking system.

I hate when people friend you and they never talk to you.

I'm not into friend collectors.

Anybody who is on my friend list I definitely chat with. If not, I delete them...

Oh, THIS. In spades.

I like talking to friends, and no it doesn't have to be sexual, but I also want to learn where their frequency/content comfort zone is and respect those boundaries. Trying, anyway. The point is, whether it's once a week or once a day or once in a while, I like to keep in touch.

I added someone against my better judgment and was proved correct - no comms since the invite. Sure, stuff happens but if they're interested, they'll write. If not, why did they bother? smh.

I came just to post something along the same sort, glad I saw this post. I hate when I see people get butt hurt about a score that's less than five. Or a negative comment. If a writer doesn't want people to score his or her story less than a five then maybe they shouldn't publish. I am glad when I see ratings of four and lower. It means there is room to improve. Although secretly every time I see the message that my story has been rejected I want to shout and tear someone's head off lol but that's a secret shhh! But yeah whining about getting a low score is rather childish in my eyes. If people give my story a low rating, at least say the reason why they thought it was bad.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.
