lucky b****** springs to mind you could sell tickets
I don't see how just looking could be considered wrong. If they didn't want to be seen then they could simply close the blinds.
Watching from the privacy of your home is cool. Like you said, it seems they are aware that they can be seen and maybe it is a turn on for them to be seen. For every voyeur there is an exhibitionist. You are just lucky enough to have two.
Its not as if you are hiding in the bushes peeking into their bedroom window, that would be creepy
looks like time to invest in a good quality spotting scope ... too much fun
Obviously, they know they can be seen. I am what I call a consensual voyeur... if the parties being watched are aware of the possibility of being seen, no problem. I am not a peeper... that is violation of privacy....
I guess I'm in the minority on this one but I think it's creepy.
It's one thing to glance across the other building and happen to see something private but it's another to set up camp with a pair of binoculars and beat off while watching them. I don't see how that's different from a *quote* "peeping tom" of quasi-stalker if it's going on a regular basis.
If someone is fucking up against a window or walking out on their balcony naked or obviously putting on a show, then fine. But if it's someone that's getting dressed in the morning, showering or brushing their teeth - no, I don't think it's intentional or part of an exhibitionist thrill.
Living in a place where one entire wall of every room is a ceiling to floor window, I'm well aware of the pitfalls of getting spied on by neighbouring buildings. At one point I started noticing a guy watching me (on several occasions) just while I was sitting on the couch using the computer or eating take-out. Is the onus on me to live in total darkness by encasing my walls of windows in drapery at all times in order to avoid this kind of behaviour? Does it matter if one is clothed? Trust me it's not a turn on thinking of some guy beating his meat while watching me surfing the web or eating Pad Thai.
People should respect privacy. In many loft or condo dwellings it's often nearly impossible to be 'invisible' to neighbouring buildings at all times unless you want to live like a sunless hermit.
if you happen to be glancing over from time to time and see them naked and pause for a moment, that's one thing. if you rearranged your furniture so that you can sit in front of the window and stare, that's another. personally, i spend a lot of time half dressed or fully undressed at home. i keep the shades drawn in the front of the house, but i like the light, so the blinds on the side and in the back are usually slated or open, depending on the room. it would take someone purposefully looking in to get a good look. if someone happened to be walking by and caught a glance, i'd be fine with that - if they stopped and stood there and stared, not so much. it's really all about degrees. yes, perhaps they are exhibitionists, but maybe, they just enjoy the freedom of being naked - i think it was the bit about being able to watch them in the bathroom that bothered me a bit - bathroom time is private time in my book.
You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.
I think watching someone that doesn't wish to watched is pretty creepy and wrong
As a person who walks around barely clothed and sometimes not at all, I can see both perspectives. I want to be comfortable in my own home and I'll do it on my terms. I'm well aware that people can see me with the windows open. They might be staring or beating off but as long as I don't see it, I don't care.
I think it's the voyeur's job to keep it on the down-low if you want the show to continue. Don't get caught or your "window of opportunity" is over.
I'd like to think that I'd take the high road and not gawk. I do agree with Autumn and Doll that it's really rather creepy unless they have somehow made it clear that they want to be seen. OTOH, if I was in the apartment with a view, I'd likely be sneaking a peek here and there. Temptation is hard to resist.
Look or Look away . That's my motto.
I agree with the line of thinking that as long as you are not going out of your way to watch ie: hiding in bushes, standing in the street staring or climbing on furniture to peek out a window you normally cant see out of, its all good... I would believe that these women have looked out their windows while in various states of undress and would have to have seen at least one person watching them... So I would guess they dont mind the watchers... I would certainly not leave notes (Anonymous notes tend to freak people out) or approach them telling them you watch them... It could be viewed as creepy... If you are that interested in knowing them, start with a smile and hello on the street and build from there...
I can see both sides, I think it's ok to glance over but don't go out of your way to do it! They obviously know you can see them and other people can! Just don't take it too far and become a peeping Tom and hide in the bushes, get binoculars or go out of your way to see them!
(I know OP isn't here anymore, but I figured I'd answer like I was talking to him/her all the same.)
If they have their curtains open, then you can't be at fault for looking. If they're not comfortable with the idea of being seen nude, they can close their curtains. If someone complained, they would actually be held responsible.
I would actually recommend trying to strike up conversations with them if you see them outside at all, and don't go out of your way to watch them (someone mentioned rearranging furniture, others mentioned hiding in bushes; stuff like that).
Of course they know what they are doing. I think most of us know to shut the curtains if we are naked and don't want to be seen. Morally, in my opinion I don't think it's right to watch them however they are the ones with the ability to close their curtains.
We have an out of town loft and there are hotels and offices nearby and I have no plan to start wearing clothes at home just because someone maybe or is watching. It is a bit of a thrill.
Where would exhibitionist like me be if there were not voyeurs like you out there?
I don't know what the issues are - just enjoy it - you are saving money on pornos

No real harm done whats the big deal.
Absolutely right, watching or listening can be a big turn on, in many cases, the biggest turn on. I love to listen, and be heard, I think that it's hot. Secretly recording is wrong.
My take is, open blinds, they want to be seen, or don't care if they are. So enjoy. I have a friend who's parents have an apartment in a high rise on the Gold Coast Australia. Directly opposite on the same level are two girls in their twenties. They parade around naked, and sit on their balcony and read, naked. I just wish I could visit more often.
