Star Wars, the new Star Trek films are good they're just not Star Wars.
I think my choice is obvious for those that know me well.

I love both. Both have had their down periods (Voyager for Trek, the prequel for Wars) and their up periods (much of the Original Series and season 3-5 of Next Generation for Trek, the original trilogy and the Clone Wars TV show for Wars). Given a choice, I choose Trek at this point. That might change depending on how Star Wars VII and the new Rebels TV series go.
I like both but was a Trekkie so many years before Star Wars came on the scene.
My opinion?
They're two completely different universes with origins coming from different angles
You really can't compare them one-on-one
That said, I like both equally for different reasons.

1st let me point out that that my favorite astrophysicist isnt holding his thumb out like i am *SURE* he meant to do.
Allow me to follow with, you get you spirituality from WARS, but your vision of tomorrow from TREK. Both are great, and thank you to Liz for once again pitting brother against brother in this timeless feud.
PS. Star Trek > Star Wars since its BS not to choose!
