Coldplay. I knew someone in the tour team, so didn't have to pay. That, and having a parking pass by the stage entrance made the experience tolerable.

Last night, in the mosh pit at Manchester Academy 2 to see grandson. Tiny venue. Fucking incredible energy.

Superchunk, they were fun but I was exhausted and could barely stand during the show.

Chris Duarte, Texas guitar slinger at a small local venue where I could actually hear his solos instead of dumbass whistlers and screamers who think a solo is some kind of idiotic sports feat!

Phish

Nekrogoblikon (plus Dickie Allen filling in on vocals) Aether Realm and Cage Fight last weekend at The Underworld on the last day of their tour. I've woken up with a terrible cold (covid negative) and apparently Dickie Allen is sick too, so I may have his germs 🤩

Rolling Stones and later Paul McCarthy.

Tuba Skinny in Michigan. Great venue and great time

I saw Fun as the featured entertainment at a conference many years ago and that was probably the last one. It was a huge MS event so the company spared no expense. I think the band had just reformed for a comeback attempt, too, so maybe they got them cheap. 😋

Foo Fighters and The Interrupters. Pretty equaly perfect performances.

Poison the Well and some hardcore band that literally did a 10 minute set. I'm gutted I'm missing Red Fang this week but the husband is under orders to pick me up some merch.
