I have had guys and gals do the same thing. I have heard from some of my friends they have had the same experience. I even discovered one of the guys who did this also had a female profile with fake pictures of a sexy female. It was quite entertaining to see how long he would carry on and what stories he would try to pass off each time. I don't mind roleplaying if someone is up front about it, but I hate it when they role play a different character eash time I chat with them as if the senerio is true. I have a good memory for details! So hint to people out there into roleplaying...keep your facts straight and remember who you said what to when you chat/cyber.

Sometimes people realise they've taken their lie too far, and decide to do the easiest thing, ie delete their account.
It's also quite common for professional sex workers (prostitutes / cam girls / phone sex lines etc) to discover sites like this, and think it's a free ride to getting clients. Their accounts are usually deleted as soon as they are found out.
