I thought fucking the newbies was the whole point...
Can anybody say that a newbie has been crucufied for being a newbie? I think not. However the ignorant, stupid, insipid posters well lets just say some folks do enjoy shooting fish in a barrel.

I'm all for being nice, but it's really irritating when the first question a guy posts is about how big I like cocks to be. How about searching, and how about not being an obvious ass?

Well put LM. As a two time joiner I've been on both the giving and receiving ends. More tolerance is proper and appreciated by newbies.
Whilst I agree with the sentiment and the general direction of the thread - after all we were all newbies once and had to feel our way round the forum decorum. I have to say like all good things in life - you also have to contribute and be part of the larger Lush 'family'. I suspect why the 'older' hands get on so well and connect with each other is because they have put in the time, effort and mutual respect that makes Lush work. I have noticed a large number of so called newbies who seem to be just doing the numbers game - tosee how many friends, posts they can make etc without even the common courtesy of giving some basic details about themselves.
We warmly welcome all new members to the forum and hope in return they contribute to the bigger 'Lush' family!
Just an opinion

There appears to be two threads running on very similar themes but the point being is that there is a perception that the 'older' hands are giving the newbies a tough time of it. I know that the moderators have been asked to back off a little, so therefore please read above and below:
Thank you Mazza Curly and Dancing Doll - I suspect that we are all going off thread but the point is clearly made - we welcome and embrace all newbies (more the merrier) - all that we ask is that they play a positive and active part of this community. The fact that 'older' memebers seem to group together is that they have worked at being part of Lush. You are more than welcome to become a part of that.

<----- Post number...?
I have to say that tend to agree with the general idea of this thread. But it's just like me to take the high road....
But, if anyone just absolutely can't contain their self, I will be happy to swim circles for a bit. But be warned, I have a memory like an elephant so don't aim at anything I really need or use often or you'll be "footless" yourself once I hit 100 posts...maybe worse. ;-)
Happy to be here....yes. Thanks.
...and I meant almost every single word of it.
Having just joined today, I fully approve of the idea of being nice to noobs. I'd also like to suggest that you not immediately invite a noob to chat. I've been here ten minutes and I've already received six or seven requests to chat. It's annoying. *steels herself for backlash from veteran members*
No backlash Thora. You're doing fine. If it get's too much use the block feature.
Welcome.
