I'd probably have my ideal home built on a sizeable amount of land in the country and spend my time doing essentially the same thing I am right now... ENJOYING LIFE!
I'd travel the globe with no time agenda for any place. I'd stay as long as I wanted to and then move on to some place new. All the while, I'd have a foundation set up to fund cures for breast and ovarian cancer and pancreatic cancer. I'd also fund treatments for gravely sick or terminally ill children. I want their parents to be free of any worry about the bills and to be able to be fully available for the precious time they have with their children.
i'd be a chef and artist in my own restaurant, in US.
I would live either in Provence or Tuscany, close to but not in a larger town to be away from tourist hordes. I would write, read, perhaps learn to paint in watercolours, and learn to cook authentic Mediterranean food. My intention would be to learn to speak French/Italian fluently and live like a local. My other half is an architect so our house would probably be a work in progress renovating an old property.
I'd build a small house somewhere in the country for my daughter and I. Set up my boys in their own places. I would also help others starting with building a friend a home wherever they'd like with plenty of room for thier children, and better medical treatment for my best friend hopefully with new lungs. After all that I'd love to be able to travel and meet new people, see the world, and hopefully meet up with some great friends
i would love to move her (where i am on holiday at the moment.) Israel. some beautiful scenery and some lovely people.
I'd buy a good sized RV, a trailer, a Dodge Challenger SRT-8, and explore all the major cities and sights that the US has to offer. Being able to wake up to different views in different places as frequently as I could, experiencing as much as I possibly could, sharing the journey with whomever wanted to join me, that was in my life. Inevitably, I'd pick a few of my favorite spots, buy property, then begin construction on those small homes. Ideally, small plots on a lake, or the ocean, and build strong, unique homes.
Then, I'd buy all the vehicles that I've ever wanted, set-up accounts to fund these properties, bills, etc. for two life times, then start funding important research and charities.
We would do pretty much like we do now, except MAYBE work a little less. Hubbie and I both have professions we chose. So we both enjoy our work. We just came back from a 5 week trip to New York in conjunction with his work. He was being paid each day but only worked 8 days of the trip. Sometimes Hubbie's consulting side of his work takes him to foreign countries. I may accompany him on more of those trips. I have a great management staff for my business which allows me to travel like the trip to New York. I can do most of what I need to do via phone and email.
We have rental property in New Orleans, Fort Walton Beach and Destin, Fla, and Breckenridge, Co. We may block more time at those locations for our selves. We like to travel so we would probably travel a little more.
We already live where we want to, so I do not see us moving any where else.

I'd buy a bigger place near the mountains where I could have more horses.
I'd get somewhere small in the Peak District and then also get a small holiday home on the coast of North Yorkshire (somewhere around Skinningrove, probably) and then I'd spend my time between the two and also going to visit elsewhere when I had someone set up to look after the animals. At the moment I couldn't go on holiday without taking the dog because she stops eating and drinking if I leave her (it's a German Shepherd thing) so after 10 years of being able to leave her (she even goes to weddings and similar with us) I'd quite like to be able to go and see some more of the world.
I'd split my time between where I live now (beach, gold coast, California) and international travel. I especially love Japan, Germany, UK (want to got to my namesake in England), and Northern Europe. I would love to go to New Zealand. Ideally I would travel with my dog and a guitar. It is odd. As anti-social as I am, I love big cities.
I've been to a lot of other countries some of which I don't want to revisit.
I'd travel the world..
go every where do everything
I'd start a no kill animal sanctuary
I'd start a charity that sends poor children to Disneyland
I'd spoil my mom ....
And I would buy a mansion in either the French Quarter or Garden District
Oh and I would have a giant tank with sharks... because what's the use of being rich if you don't have a shark tank.
That implies that I'd be having a luxury cruise liner.... So I'll live there.... going from port to port, picking up girls of my choice... hehehehe
right here house is on the beach with a 3/4 wrap around deck all paid for plus added a boat last year looking for some to share it with
I cannot think of anything I would want that I do not already have: my dream home, a satisfying career, good health, a beautiful, loving wife, three great children, more money that I will ever spend in a life time, total happiness. What else is there?
Pay my bills. Put money away for my kids & then I'd be off to Scotland!
Buy as much arable acreage as I could near a Reservation, and help a Native Nation* grow food to feed themselves and perhaps even have excess to grow wealthy in life again.
* There are a lot of reservations for Native Americans in these United States.
I'll be in Japan, have my own private hot spring.. and a small country town house in britain.. a penthouse in New York, and a Beach House in Australia..
have a private concert of my fave musical artists for me and my friends, and buy my own mall..
She's mad, but she's magic. There's no lie in her fire. ~ Charles Bukowski
I would probably stay where I'm at, but I know that I would take great care of my parents, brother, son and grandkids, would donate some to a charity, basically live a normal life....
I would live on a tropical island and would scuba dive and paly golf.
I'd move Heaven and Earth - using only fair means, nothing foul or illegal - to ensure that The Donald NEVER becomes US President. Money no object with this project, folks!
I don't think that I could actually settle in one place.
I just want to go out and explore this great big world.
I've made some great friends in my travels and I'm having lots of fun, in retirement, spending the Pension Fund.
If I had all the available resources and all the money necessary, ideally I would spend some time to travel around the world and just see what's out there. There's so much out there to explore, and it would be a privilege to just be able to see more of it than I currently do. Perhaps I'll fall in love with cities I've never yet been to. Alternatively, or additionally, I would want to participate in some humanitarian aid missions. I'd want to be able to a charity organization that is actually transparent, and create a system that actually works and improves the lives of others, since in my experience, many charities are not as responsible or giving as they're often reputed to be. Not sure exactly how such a "system" would work logistically, but I've got time to figure it out. After that, if I'm satisfied, I'd like to settle down.
In terms of settling down, as of right now, I would love to be able to buy a simple but open loft apartment in New York City or San Francisco and live comfortably in such a space that of course, where the interior is designed completely by me. In addition, despite having the money, as a career-oriented individual I'd still like to have a job as a web developer, or a different job that could make use of a degree in computer engineering. Perhaps a bit simplistic or very generic, but a steady career with a back up plan and a comfortable place to live would make me happy. I'd love to expand and add to my collections of books, perhaps build a large wall-to-wall shelf for it.
As for the second part, what's stopping me from achieving my dreams? Not too much, it's in the plan. It's not a particularly unrealistic one, though perhaps idealistic. Maybe the order will be mixed up though, lol. I'd probably have to take quite a few jobs in Canada first and save up money for until I can move to my dream city and establish a career there, and a loft apartment to go with it. Glossing over a lot of stuff; I know, it won't be that simple, but I think it's achievable. Afterwards comes all the traveling and humanitarian aid stuff.
TL;DR: A spacious loft apartment in New York City or San Fran, with a career in web developing and a huge library + travelling the world
If I had all the money I needed, I'd love to do a bit of traveling......I'd love to move somewhere that's nice and warm.
I'd want to spend my time with a special someone.
I have all the money I need....you can only spend so much. Happy to say I am living right where I want to live at this point in my life.
