Why lie on Lush? It's not like anyone knows who I really am. Actually, I find it a place where I can be brutally honest and say whatever I want, where as you can't always do that in the "real world". I think the opportunities to let loose and let your inhibitions drop here are marvelous, and I love that. There is no point in lying here for me. That would defeat the purpose of being here in the first place!

I find this question very intriguing; “how often do you lie when making comments on Lush”. Some of us asked in return “Why lie here or what’s the point in lying here” This added more curiosity to my interest. Being a student of law and a future officer of the court and keeper of the public trust, I’d always strive diligently to make my friends aware of the facts. So I’d make an effort to comment on certain dimensions of this topic in a broader way. However, keep following facts about Lush in mind:
* There is no mechanism here to check fakers, pretenders and imposters. And we all have encountered them. They do lie most of the time, however, their aim is to get attention and come close to us to fulfill their lusty desires. They are not sincere friends.
* Others can be called “Encouragers”. They cheer and boost us by use of exaggeration. Their comments are inflated and they overblow in flattering. Most of them are sincere and want us to do well in writing stories, poems etc. But some of them also belong to the first category.
* Then there are those who say why lie here…. I think they have two further categories lol… One who don’t lie here but may not be always truthful in their real life. Such people use sugarcoated language here. Second, those who don’t lie at all, here and in reality. It’s not difficult to recognize them as they are blind like law, straight like an arrow and observe the social norms of decency, honesty, legality etc
Now having done this little analysis, I’d like to tell what I feel and I think that:
* First the big counter question.... why not commenting the truth!
* In real life, it’s difficult to be straightforward and we use tact and tolerance. But here we can be candid in our views and say whatever we feel like! Actually being here is a chance to lay-off our shyness and reservations, so there is no point in lying here. I’m here for my own interest; why should I negate it myself?
* I should be more honest here in expressing my wishes, fantasies, desires etc and explore what I really want. So lying would reverse the resolve and the aim of being here would be goalless!
* However there are my limits and I'm not ready to tell about certain things concerning myself but I make it clear in my bio and while friending people.
So lying here would do no good to anyone. As Lushies we undeniably should be faithful confidantes to our friends

I recently had to dip from a story from a writer whose literature I've enjoyed in the past. I don't know, I just didn't like how the story unfolded and seeing as I didn't even read half of it, I didn't leave a comment. I may go back to read it next yr.
