I still find that a little weird (although not nearly as weird as someone who masturbates to a picture of themselves).

Not in a judgement type weird, just a 'I can't understand it' type weird. I can't read my stories as a neutral, if that makes sense. So when I read my own work, I just find myself criticising my work, or thinking I should have done something different, or sometimes being proud of what I have wrote. I respectfully disagree.

Some people live unhealthy lifestyles and have a negative self image. I was such a person, and got larger than I've ever been. I'm glad to say I've done something about it. What I'm trying to say, is that some people have a negative self body image and something that's justified. What I could never stand is when I was, let's say, chubby, was when people would tell me I looked fine, or seem to suggest that my unhealthy lifestyle was something to be proud of.

But, there are definitely some people who have a negative self body image because they are comparing themselves to an unrealistic 'ideal', and I completely agree with 'supporting' such people (male or female) in to having a healthier image of themselves.

BUT....that's got nothing to do with narcissism! Encouraging one girl to masturbate to pictures of herself is completely unrelated, and does nothing to help those others with a negative body image. There is such a thing as going 'too far'! Narcissism isn't a character trait that is often desired. It has a negative connotation for good reasons.

Put it this way, no one has ever said 'I really love Claire. She's so narcissistic and I find that incredibly sexy'

Now my girlfriend was very confident within herself and very confident in the bedroom, and I loved that. So if you are talking about a confident woman (or man) then I'm on board with encouraging that with others.
