I've been nude on the beach a few times and will do it again. It's not a nude beach but it's hard to get to and very few people there. I have been caught a couple of times.

I don't have any issues seeing bodies that are supposedly imperfect and not-so-young, I don't giggle, don't really look, it's only about the feeling of sun, water and the liberating nakedness. For me, it's a wonderful selfish indulgence. The same goes for naked saunas.
That said, I do have an issue with people who go there and spend the entire time commenting on other people's bodies. Nudism is a culture with a few simple rules and respect is one of them.

As my user name suggests I love naturist beaches, mainly around Greece, so a lot of holiday planning is centred around where there is access to naturist beaches. I truly believe there is no better way to relax than naked in the sun and if like minded people are around then fine. Standing naked on a beach talking to a naked stranger is liberating, not sexual.
I would love to go to one, especially be able to swim in the ocean and get up from the water without wet swimclothes clinging to the body. Almost got my wife into accepting it last time on Gran Canary, but then we found that the nude areas in Maspaloma also was a very very popular walk for clothed people between Playa Ingles and Maspalomas. Would not like to walk nude thougt the pouring stream of clothed people to get into the ocean, and maybe meeting neighbours from Norway. Perhaps another beach another time.

The french beaches I spend my holidays on are fairly liberal. Close to the car parks are the family areas where most people are fully costumed or at most topless but if you walk a couple of hundred yards down the beach then topless is de rigueur (french for customary - do you see what I've done there?). a couple of hundred yards further and there are no families and very few clothes. The first few minutes spent in the au naturel area (aha, done it again) and your eyes are on stalks, naked bodies everywhere. Within a ridiculously short time you become used to it and for me a naked pussy is a naked pussy is a naked pussy. Some hairy, some shaved, some pretty, some not. After a couple more hours you stop looking and it is all quite boring really. After a few days of it I actually find the occasional flash of skin when walking around town from an accidental underboob, down-blouse or upskirt far more titillating than a naked pussy on a beach.

Yes, its great! Hippie Hollow near Austin, Texas is a clothing optional State Park. Adults only on a great stretch of lake front. Feels great to have the sun and breeze on your whole body and the people watching is crazy.
I've been a naturist all my life so I often go to nudist beaches and naturist clubs. Firstly, I'm glad a lot of people on here enjoy them as I find it a natural and enjoyable experience being naked, especially with other naturists around. Secondly, those that seemed put off that it wasn't as titillating (or similar) seem to have the wrong idea about nudist beaches. They are not there for sexual games etc in the main. They are for people, families included, who enjoy the naturist lifestyle and just want to be clothes free.
There are some beaches that are set around for more sexual fun. Usually around densely populated night life areas; these are the places to go if you want titillation.
