Let me draw a parallel... I'm a keen Chef... I entertain my friends by hosting dinner parties several times a week... (They are a success!)
I ALSO keenly read recipie books and indeed post my own culinary creations on websites, (including THIS one!!!)
To SUGGEST that an academic and keen interest in the THEORY and practice of cooking precludes one from cooking and indeed eating is at least mis-guided and dare I say FASCILE!
To READ about a perfectly cooked Beef Strognanov cooked in youghurt and cream can be interesting and pleasurable. (BUt not as much as cooking and eating/serving one...)
To SUGGEST (as you do) that one negates the other is frankly to imlpy a lack of imagination, a lack of adventure and honestly, a lack of life experience...)
If this were a School Report I'd suggest you could and MUST do rather better!

I was about 45 when I joined Lush... (I was not inexperienced at that time...) What AMAZED me was the absolute sense of giggling rude fun that MANY women enjoy during the ACTUAL sexual experience... THe fault is of course MINE! My own condititioning and repression FORBADE me from EVEN PLAYFULLY exploring avenues I thought might offend or unsettle, EVEN IF THOSE ACTIVITIES were meant in loving, playful passionate fun...
