Just something i thought i would throw out. As we're all probally aware many people on this shit use pictures found of the net.
However have you noticed how when the picture loads along the top it show the picture name for example ive just seen one that says "a hot girl in the bathroom.jpg" now if you type this in on a picture search site it will be one of the first iimages to display, but yet people still write comments such as "wow your soo hot" wen it clearly isnt actually the person in question.

How do you guys feel bout this matter?
x catchy x
"Many people on this shit?"
Charming. Your mother obviously brought you up well.
I'm not really sure what you mean. The picture along the top is "lush-top2.jpg," according to my browser. As far as profile pics and avatars, I think most people realize that members' photos are rarely really of them. They're probably just playing along or trying to score points by saying something nice.
I freely admit, by the way, that I am not actually a raccoon.
I freely admit, by the way, that I am not actually a raccoon.
and after all this time i thought you were!! if you find someones picture that is like ive mentioned you'll understand what i mean. and yes i fully understand people dont use their real pictures as they want to remain almost annomus
I don't really care if someone uses their real picture or not. As a matter of fact I almost always assume that it is of someone else.
Why do you care one way or another? Or do you? Is it really important to make an acquaintanceship with someone that has a "real" picture of themselves?
So, is that you in your avatar? You look nicely tanned for someone living in the UK. Your (?) picture in the image gallery shows the colour I was expecting.
I know what you mean though. I've skimmed through peoples pictures before and even though every picture is quite obviously a different person, people have added comments and compliments as though they were the person from the profile!
On a site like this you just have to not take things at face value, even though some pics are quite obviously 'homemade' and others stolen from the net.
I don't have a single picture of myself here and I have met great friends, a pic doesn't mean as much as your intelligence. Be yourself here and you will be just fine. Pics mean nothing until you get to know someone better.
The night that changed my life, a four part series of a married man lusting after his co-worker
Yes, I know what u mean- obvs a lot of people don't put themselves for privacy reasons- i'd hate to be walking round tesco with my boyfriend and see someone i recognised off the site- hello? Awkward.
This site offers a fantastic mode of escape- people can show as much or as little as they want and be anyone they want. It's freedom and I love it!
I still don't get why people write comments like 'you're so hot' when it's obvs not them. But some people like to pretend it is i guess so... fairplay to them!
What do you think?: Are the people who post "You're hot!"-type comments on (obvious) fake photos on here really that easily fooled, or are they doing it to "score points" as mentioned above?
Are people really that stupid/oblivious or is it somehow self-serving?
The reviews are in. Here's what people are saying about FicklePickleTickle: "BestCukeOnTheVine" - LusciousLola.
"Pickle juice rocks!" - curiousbutterfly.
"Pickles is really a jalapeño" - sw33tang3l
"Will someone make that guy sit down, my kids can't see the movie?!?" - Some guy in at the theater.
"Shouldn't he be wearing clothes if he's going to be in the wedding?" - Your mom.
"If FTP Eats A Pickle, Is That Cannibalism? " Nikki703 "FTP makes me wet. . ." - imhapless.
"Always thought he was dill but he's actually a sweet pickle." - kinkygirl.
I concur with the above.. my avatar is obviously not me, nor are most of the pictures on my page.. I wouldn't like to be recognised in the real world when out and about with my family.. A lot of people on here that I know keep their real picture hidden until they are comfortable with someone and then reveal themselves ( often literally!) Which, to my mind is all part of the fun of a site like this.. the unknown quantity whilst chatting to someone and the pleasant surprise when you get to see what they look like.. although most people get an unpleasant surprise when they see what I'm really like ;)
Oh sprite, you've shattered all my illusions now.. what with typing pussys, super girls and parts of a cow all literate, we've almost got the basis for a story like Alice in Wonderland!
It really doesn't bother me if people want to keep their physical identity secret on here...the thing I think is a little bit off is when people pretend that this fake picture...is actually them.
BUT this doesn't bother me in the slightest...in fact, I almost consider it a little game (heh heh) to look at numerous pictures on someone profile of 'them' and try to suss out if it's all the same person or not....HANG ON. THE MOLE ON HER LEFT BUTTOCK DOESN'T MATCH IN ALL 5 PICTURES......SHHHIII-------
I am not sayin that i am against the idea of using other pictures as quite rightly said yes it can turn into a game or fantasy just think some people comment in the hope of starting a convostation. Didt no that this topic would cause so much despute
as a rule, the avatar photos that have been me haven't been super clear, and the ones that aren't me, should have been obviously not me (same goes for the ones in my profiles, when i've posted them) - i HAVE shared photos with close friends here, but usually, that's been thru emails, i tend to be selective about that, and have admittedly, had moments where i wish i could take those back when there's been a falling out or such... ANYways, honestly? i could care less what your avatar looks like, except that it's a representation of who you are in side? i'm not here to just cyber fuck hot guys or gals, if i get friendly, it's gonna be because there's a nice person lurking behind whatever picture you happen to have up.
You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.
Quote by FicklePickleTickle Here's an interesting side question then:

This reminds me of when I first joined Lush back in late 2009...I had no clue how widespread the fake picture thing was, or that it is in some ways encouraged by Lush...
I had sent a note to one of my early Lush friends complimenting her on her av picture...and she sent a note back thanking me for the compliment...
It was not until I saw another member with the exact same av picture that I realized something was up...and I later found out that Lush offers a selection of "stock" photos you can choose as av pics...
Quote by Sw33tAng3l just take it with a grain of salt. does it really matter if ppl are using their real pictures or not? it's their business what they do.
and for the record, mine are really of me & that is my back in my AV.
You have one of the best avatars on Lush, I really love that picture.
I did use a a pic of myself here when I started but no one needs to see who I am. The avatars I use now are ones which depict my sensuality and erotic personality. Just because the woman in the pic ISN'T me doesn't mean it couldn't BE me. And I'm always up front about the avatar not being me, I would never make a false claim like that.
