Or have new social circles.
Trying to come up with some themes for my next story, revolves around people in their 20s meeting for the first time but both being out of college.
Work
At a bar
At a museum
At a party
At one time, church. That's getting rare in Gen X and later, though, since most of them are unchurched.
Clubbing
Music festivals probably lead to more than a few meetups/hookups
It was usually 'friend of a friend' for me. Going for a night out that a particular person had organised and they (and potentially their partner) had various groups of friends from college/work etc who started mingling.
Music festival is an idea
I am looking for other ways a lone person can randomly meet strangers and become friends with them or start a social circle through that
Rec sports teams are a great way to meet people. Becoming a regular at a bar or a coffee house is also an excellent option.
Most people I meet these days are either through work or are the coworkers of existing friends.
I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?
