MADONNA is being lined up as the saviour of telly show American Idol.
With SIMON COWELL quitting as a judge after tomorrow's final, Idol boss SIMON FULLER is desperate for a big name to fill the X Factor chief's shoes.
And the Queen Of Pop tops Fuller's wish list to take the music mogul's place on the panel.
A source said: "Simon is going to leave a gaping hole. Not only is he an expert, he's also a big star in the States.
"Everyone agrees Madge would be great and they want her as a full-time judge. But if that fails they'd at least like her as a mentor."
Ratings for the talent show are at an all-time low and filming for the next series has been pushed back to September as bosses search for a new judge.
Cowell admits his farewell after nine series is going to be emotional.
But he feels his replacement needs to be someone who "actually knows what they're talking about".
Therein lies the problem.

Happy Sunday Lushies... I haven't been here for a while... I have been lounging in the new luxury suite just off the main hotel wing... catching up on a few zzzz's.... and enjoying the view just outside the window.
I noticed they have done a few renovations around here. And might I say that my favourite addition to the Lush Resort, is the beautiful new gardens and aviary that was installed.
It looks absolutely divine.... There is nothing like lush tropical foliage to wake up to every morning. And let's not forget the addition of the most beautiful and intelligent birds of the jungle to keep the aviary interesting! I'm sure the parrots will be a most welcome addition to the resort... although I hear they can be quite mischievous too. Careful of getting too close. If you don't know how to handle them, I hear they pack a nasty bite!
In the meantime, I made some delicious little omelette snacks to start everyone's morning. I thought the presentation on these was adorable. And there's enough for everyone. Just grab a spoon!
And I know it's only morning, but Anton assured me he has a delicious recipe for breakfast shots. And who couldn't use a shot to start the day. Besides, many people are celebrating a long weekend, so don't hold back now. Enjoy and keep that buzz going!

I’ve missed you guys! I was off on a two week vacation with my friend Cristiano Ronaldo. I’m sure most of you know who he is and if you don’t --- how could you not?
I was in need of some serious pampering and like a good friend he came to my rescue, picking me up and flying me to a gorgeous beach in Mexico. We spent plenty of time relaxing by the shore and soaking up the rays.

I think burlesque is a lost art, and way more sexy than the modern strip club. They show you just enough to get riled up but not show everything off the bat. There is a revival of burlesque like you had said in movies etc - Doll the movie you are thinking about with Christina Aguilera is called.....

I find the problem with a lot of modern strip clubs is that unless it's a featured dancer, sometimes it just looks like a girl buzzed out on quaaludes or just completely stoned sort of wandering around on stage, swaying and peeling off clothes.
