PIZZA TOAST!

I can't believe I didn't find this as a topic already. Share your fav pizza toast recipe

LYF's PURRFECT PIZZA TOAST

Lightly toast a slice of whole wheat bread

Drizzle a little olive oil over BOTH sides of the bread spread with a knife if needed

Spread a thin layer of you fav pasta sauce on the bread

Add shredded mozzarella cheese

Sprinkle with fresh oregano

Add your fav toppings: mini-pepperoni, green & red peppers, red onion

Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top

Bake or broil for 8-10 minutes at 375F (can do on BBQ also)

(Experiment with toppings but cut your toppings smaller than a regular size pizza)

None of my recipes have measurements, I just wing it. Seems to turn out OK.

I've never heard of such a thing. Why would you even want to do that?

I like pizza toast because it's great when I'm craving a slice or two of pizza instead of a whole pizza.

I got my latest go-to recipe off a home-taught chef's Instagram, but it's garlic bread. If it's sliced thin, then I do a layer of cheese before the sauce so it doesn't get soggy. Mozzarella (duh), shit ton of pepperoni, classic marinara sauce, drizzle of honey, and fresh basil.
