Red! Leeuwin estate Cab Sav from margaret river WA is one of my faces!!
I love a chilled Riesling (Kerpen Graacher Domprobst is my favourite). Of course, for very special occasions, Ice wine is pure heaven. I'll take icewine over champagne any day. My favourite: Reif Vidal Icewine. The bottle is beautiful as well, so it makes a super gift for the hostess. If you bring me a bottle, I'll gladly cook you a great meal!
Gold hearted fun loving Aussie Angel
don't drink alot of alcohol but dont mind an occasional Moscato (white wine)
Red most of the time but like many others have said, white is great in the summer weather.
Basically I am a RED person. Shiraz, and Cab Sav. In South America I found some wonderful some wonderful Malbec. We have some in Aussie but they dont rate like the Argentinian/Chilian.
For some pasta and all seafood I have been drinking Rose a lot more and found the suptleness of the wine siuts the flavours of the food better. Being served cold helps here in the summer too.
Always white...New Zealand Sauvignon blanc my current fave
I find myself drinking more red in the cold months and white in the warm ones along with rose. Perhaps it is because we eat heartier food in the cold months and drinking wine cold is refreshing in the summer.
I'm into Caberent but if you offer me a Shiraz or Merlot or anything other red wine I will not turn it down.
I enjoy both red and white, but a nice valpolicella never seems to fail ;)
I prefer a nice Riesling or Gewurztraminer with a meal.

I used to really enjoy a smoothe cabernet sauvignon. I liked merlot too~ dry red, semi-sweet red, full body, and blush.
Red - better for the digestion!!! White is too sweet, easy to just drink like "lemonade" and get drunk.

I tend to prefer white wine generally- an Italian pinot grigio or a New Zealand sauvignon blanc. But for wine with a meal with more intense flavors such as a beef or a rich pasta dish I enjoy red- merlot, shiraz or a good wine from Tuscany.
