Oh, yes....baby skunks can cut loose! While they don't do that often, if they get scared they certainly will. I had a skunk. Mom got him for me as a baby from a local rancher. We had him for a few weeks before taking him to a Vet to get "de-fumed". Pepi, as we named him... was a wonderful little pet who would use the doggie door to go outside and hunt for bugs and grubs. They also like some veggies. He seldom went to the bathroom inside the house and would go out in the evening to hunt for food. They do eat cat/dog food very well, especially wet. After a few hours of hunting, he would return home. Skunks are nocturnal and need to be trained to sleep at night, we never did and he had the run of the house. If you get one, enjoy....

Aw...that would be so cute! Hubby's resisting my desire for more pets, we have two cats and he says that's enough. I think maybe a pet raccoon, or a de-odorized skunk, or maybe a pet fox would be neat!
