If you are gonna talk about Hitler, don't be dumb enough to do so in defense of Trump. Don't be dumb enough to use Hitler as a defense of anything, or minimize Hitler's horrific legacy in any respect. It's just a dumb dumb dumb thing to do, speaking of saying dumb things. Nuff said about that.

Not discussing politics on Lush has nothing to it being an erotica site. Many people on here are intelligent and have their own opinions and thoughts that should be challenged. In general, I find many places not to be the proper place to discuss politics. I enjoy debating and challenging others about politics very much. That said, through personal experience I've found discussing politics with people I know on a more personal basis gives way for a more fruitful discussion. I know many people in the Military and we rarely, if ever, talk about politics. There have been circumstances where the topic was brought up, but not for long. Again through personal experience, I find debating politics with family, friends, acquaintances, fellow students at graduate school is very interesting and I have learned a lot. I'm not saying that can't happen on Lush. I find it difficult to discuss not just politics, but other issues at Lush and other places/people. That said, with no offense intended whatsoever, you made an assumption I don't talk about politics on here for your reasons stated, i.e. Lush is an erotica website. You were wrong for the reasons I aforementioned. That is one reason why I never assume things. My discussion of politics at Lush has nothing whatsoever to do with erotica, intelligence, political views, etc. I've had multiple conversations with people at Lush that were of intellect.

Your statement is factual - Hitler cannot solely and logically be blamed for WW II. I do find the comment very offensive, however. Through my beliefs, WW II and the circumstances and people that were involved the war cannot and should not be compared to any issue such as Trump.

can you really defend someone by comparing him to Hitler? He may not have been solely responsible for the war, but he was definitely an evil mother fucker, as much to blame as anyone else, and not who I would want to to be compared to as a leader.

Both good &/or understandable questions.

However, I became a member a few days ago, & still saw no reason for this thread... Trump is the President, so I have no problem with anyone from anywhere discussing their opinions of him having that job or what he does while in that job, but there is no reason for a thread discussing him "for" a job that (like it or not) he already has.

Wow. One grandfather landed on Juno Beach, the other was already a German P.O.W. (and repeat escapee) well before Pearl Harbour. My grandmother was an RCAF nurse assigned to the British division tasked with the liberation of Bergen-Belsen.

All three were awarded medals of the highest order for their service.
