I've just changed the forum settings so my time stamps are correct.
The forum software now indicates GMT –7 Mountain Time (US & Canada). It was GMT –8 previously.
Are the forum times lining up for everyone now?
The forum time stamp shows GMT for me. It used to show GMT or BST depending on the time of year (BST recently, of course). I am in Pacific Time, currently PDT.
Does any of this answer your question?

It is four hours ahead of reality for me...
I'm in Eastern Standard Time, btw...
The time stamps that I see are always out of sync... Hold on, I'll post this and see what it says...
edit: No, it says 11:34 on mine - it's 12:34 here just now standard GMT....
technology, huh?
They used to be right, now they are an hour off. Although the times posted on my profile page with the last ten posts I made were always 3 hours off. (Pacific Time, when I'm Eastern)
The time stamp is an hour off for me. It has me at Mountain Time and I'm on Central Time.

Hell, I thought we were gonna see some videos of the Matriarch instructing us in the art of erotic seduction.

The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
Gav has advised that with the new setup, everyone will be able to set their own timezone.
How cool is that?
Heh.
Gav assures me that the new system will be able to handle all we can throw at it.
With the current dual server setup, any more than 6000 people on at the same time, it causes us issues. That's a lot of people trying to access data on our servers consecutively if you think about it.
In future, we'll be able to simply plug in more servers and scale up. It's not possible to do that with M$'s databases, unless you want to pay $4000 a year, PER server. The free, open source solution, is definitely the way to go.
