Congratulations to the winners, but also, to all entrants.

A great big congratulations to deviantsusie on winning 1st Place in this competition. Great story! And great big congrats to Spritecus the Conqueror for 2nd Place with that awesome story, and to (very) NaughtyAnnie on 3rd Place with her really fantastic story.

And then Kee and all y'all that finished out the Top 10 in this comp. Awesome work, y'all. Congrats and Thanks!

Excellent Comp!

Congratulations Susie, Rach, and Annie on your win. As well as the rest of the top ten and all who entered. I didn't get to read them all but definitely some great stories from what I've read. I have to say I absolutely enjoyed both Rachel's, and Vanessa's. It was a fun competition. I enjoyed sharing our local legends with you.

Wow thank you so.much Tonya!! I loved yours it kept me intrigued and made me want to visit you.

A big congrats to all the winners and everyone who entered.

Susie ❤ the biggest congrats ever!!

Bit of a sidenote
I loved so many of these it was a great theme and a really fun one
I wish Larry had entered though a comp without him feels strange
and Beffer would have rocked it so I wish she had entered also.

And continuing

Rach's story almost scared me and now I'm looking for cameras EVERYWHERE!!
Though i suppose she can watch me anytime ?

Annie- That might have been your best story yet! You sat out a comp then came back better than ever
Congrats!!

Kee- I fucking loved yours it was one of my favourites and is now on my list

And Kimmi - You write your entries fast and so smoothly its awesome

Awww crap, I forgot to mention yours in my comment above as one of the stories that impressed me, sorry. Knew there was at least one more nagging at the back of my brain when I wrote that, but I couldn't place it and had to zoom off before I could skim the list to remind myself.

I loved your concept: such a great idea making the hotel the focus of the mysticism.

Thank you so much for the shout out man. I'm glad I procrastinated on the idea for so many months. It was as if it was destiny for me to delay and delay just so that I could enter it in this competition.

And man, every entry that I read was so smooth and creative. Lush's authors really bring it when it comes to these comps!

My last published story: Ho For The Holidays

There are times she is kneeling out of obedience, reverence and respect. Those are the times it is okay to stand above her. But when she is kneeling because the weight of the world is just too heavy to bear … that is when You should be kneeling beside her.

Okay, I'm not very good at this sort of thing (there's a reason why I'm The 'Shy' Thespian...), but here goes Post no 2 on this Forum thingy...

Congratulations to all the winners - podium and top ten! All terrific stories (with an apology to Piquet - I haven't read yours yet!). Reading all the posts, it's like a secret club where everyone knows each other, and I'm an interloper. I'm honoured and chuffed to have made it into the Top Ten for the first time. This was my 4th attempt, and it takes a while to work out what it's all about. I offer thoughts and commiserations to all those who didn't make it into the top ten - I read most of the entries (not all - I just ran out of steam, so I'm sorry if I missed your story), and as others have said, there was some great writing and some fabulous stories that didn't get a mention. Some have been mentioned already, but I'm thinking particularly of some of my friends, whose style is different and perhaps doesn't garner the recognition it merits (and with that, I do recognise the difficulty of judging a competition with so many diverse entries). So, well done to Grusha, Hannah, Mojave Joe and Carlton for your entries!

Everyone's top ten would be different, so I'm just going to mention my own two personal favourites - 'Willow' by Kimmi, and 'Feeding the Myth' by WW. I thought they were both fantastic.

I've been in touch with a few of you separately, and I'll reiterate what I've said before - these competitions are an emotional roller-coaster. I know from experience what it feels like to not make the top ten. Know that you are not alone. Kimmi wrote a story 'The Competition' - which says it says it all really. Maybe she can share it again.

Congratulations once again to the winners! It's a privilege to be in such company!

'Til the next time... smile

Think Of Me… - 1st place in the 'Dirty Talk' competition.

Down the Rabbit Hole - 3rd place in the 'Unleashed' competition.

The Intimate and Top Secret Files of Lady Agnes Jackhammer - 3rd place in the 'Punked' competition.

Samhain Shenanigans of the Satyr - 3rd place in the 'Halloweenie' competition.

Congratulations, Susie, Rachel and Annie. Well done top-tenners.

You are very kind, Jason. I thought there were some marvellous stories on this list - yours no exception. Congratulations to you, to all those who made the list, and to all those who (for whatever reason) didn't!

Grusha

GrushaVashnadze's best stories:

Alison Goes to London (RR) - "love this... fun, and funny, and sexy" (sprite)

The Cursed Cunt (RR) - "holyyyyy sheeeiiit.... Your writing is fucking fantastic" (CarltonStJames)

A Worthless Filthy Fucking Smoking Trash Cunt Whore (RR) - "Brilliantly done. Of course." (naughtyannie)

Snow White and the Seven Dildos (RR) - "Fuck. It's perfect.... honestly genius and so fucking well executed." (VioletVixen)

Metamorphoses (RR) - "so imaginative and entertaining" (saucymh)

And There Came Two Angels to Sodom - "What a deliciously worded story! So juicy, so raunchy" (el_henke)

Fuck-Talk (with VioletVixen) - "Jeez. I feel rendered wordless by how much clever fucking fun this is" (Jaymal)

Thank you, Vanessa and Mr. Thespian, for the shout-outs. I do love being a part of comps. I preach to join comps and not tie self-esteem to them, and unfortunately broke my own rule in the other site's comp. But, that was more about bad timing with an unpleasant life situation than the comp. Try to view comps as fun and a way to attract readers, other authors, and improve your writing.

Congratulations to the Winner, Second Place, Third Place, and the Runners Up in the Myths and Legends Competition. Congratulations to all who took the time and made the effort to write a story for this competition. Well done to all, not only to the writers but to the moderators and the judges.

Thank you so much to all of you for entertaining and exciting us with amazing stories. It was a great topic, I love when you take a known tale or myth and go full-on Rule 34 on them biggrin You are truly awesome!

Curiosity is one of those insatiable passions that grow by gratification.
Many, many congratulations to the very worthy winner of this excellent competition. DeviantSusie!!!!! Just superb.

Lush is in great shape reading through the winner and nearly-winners, such talent.
