Congratulations to the winners, runners up and everyone who entered! I was truly stumped by this theme and reading through the top 10 had me in awe of the sheer creativity you guys brought to the table. Tam's story was just spectacular. I think i fainted while reading it, it was so good, a really deserved winner.

Wondered why you hadn't been around much lately.

Please browse my digital bookshelf. In this collection, you can find 111 full stories, 10 micro-stories, and 2 poems with the following features:

* 29 Editor's Picks, 74 Recommended Reads.
* 15 competition podium places, 10 other times in the top ten.
* 21 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

I know it's taken me forever to get around to commenting - busy week. This was a great competition to be a part of (of which to be a part - see? grammar pedant as well as smut-monger) and having read numerous entries if not all, I found a striking number of stories any one of which would have graced the top three very well.

Congrats to all - flattered to have been picked and glad to be a part of this great outpouring of deranged erotic imagination.

Thank you. It was satisfying to be in it. I've been in competitions on other sites but never this one. At first, I didn't think I'd come up with anything and then I barely kept it within the 3,500-word limit. But I'm pleased anyway.

We've received a lot of negativity and flak over the results of this competition.

I'd like to point out that despite criticism, the shortlisted selections aligned very closely with the membership vote.

8 out of the 10 shortlisted, were in the Top 10 based on # votes / average score alone.

I am not going to enter into any more discussions regarding the competition shortlisting and judging process.

I spend an awful lot of time thinking them up, getting them going, promoting them, reading / shortlisting stories / coordinating people to help out etc., and on top of that, foot the bill for the prizes.

If it becomes a chore and no fun to run them, I'll simply stop.

Hi Nicola, I can’t fathom why some people can’t except the result of a competition. I totally agree that it should be the ten best stories that make the top ten no matter who author is or when the date story was entered. I always believe that it’s the taking part in the competition is more important than winning. Whenever I be entered I know I’m not going win as there will always be a more worthy entry of winning than mine.

For the past few months I’ve been using Instagram and been using the site to post my photography . Here’s the link to my profile

A competitive spirit is a good thing, but some people take this a little too seriously.
