Checked the box for you.

Please browse my digital bookshelf. In this collection, you can find 125 full stories, 10 micro-stories, and 3 poems with the following features:

* 30 Editor's Picks, 82 Recommended Reads.
* 16 competition podium places, 11 other times in the top ten.
* 23 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

Thank you!!!!! 😘

I posted my competition story effort "Punked" yesterday, which I guess is slightly different to others, though I have not yet read any other entries.

I am just a little concerned about running out of time as I wait to know if it has been accepted or needs a little more work. I ask, if a story is rejected, can it be resubmitted after the deadline?

I doubt it. We encourage authors to submit their work early, though we do process competition stories as priority whenever we can. Yours is at the head of the queue so someone should get to it fairly soon when they have a free moment.

At least you've entered! That's the main thing. I've hacked away and binned my entry more times than I care to admit. It's currently in the bin, btw.

no. it cannot be resubmitted after the deadline. that said, we are very aware of all comp entries sent in and we will do everything within OUR power to make sure that they are approved before the deadline. that being said, if you wait untl the very last minute to do it, you're taking a bit of a risk. smile

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

ALSO! be aware that this is memorial day weekend in the USofA and some of the 'murican mods will be using it to travel, etc, so we might be short handed... in other words, once again, if you wait until the very last minute to submit, you are taking a big risk.

Enjoy your holiday (or is it a vacation) Sprite. We have a national holiday on this side of the pond too, this Monday. I would like to say my cutting it close to the deadline date is because I am a risk taker, flying by the seat of my pants but the truth is far from that and more poignant.

I am pleased to say WW has read it, and given it back to me for a few changes. It seems I don't know if I living in the present or the past! 🙄 However with luck my competition story will be up later today... and by the way, it is a little different to the others posted and was inspired by your Ellie story. 😇

lol i said SOME. i'm working sat&sun - i do get monday off, tho and am using it to go see the Little Mermaid film smile

as for living in the past/present/future... my big issue is sometimes i randomly change tense in the middle of a story for like 3 paragraphs and then go back to the original without even realizing it lol it's very weird... oh, dude... nothing should be inspired by Ellie - that was kind of... weird. lol

Well.. there are 24 hours til the deadline so I thought, fuck it... so I put in a story. Hopefully it will get verified and get the 10 votes by tomorrow night.. is it midnight British Summer Time or funny western American time?

It's in, and don't worry about the votes count. As far as I'm aware, it's not a thing any more and the comp general Ts and Cs page hasn't caught up yet. I'm sure Jen will spank me if I'm wrong.

I pleased to hear that like counts are not needed anymore, IMHO the longer I been on this site the more I realise that likes do not necessarily reflect the quality of the story.

If that's the case, when can we expect the comp general Ts & Cs page to be caught up? It would be nice to know the up-to-date Ts & Cs.

I don't know if that's the official stance, but if it is then yes it should be updated. I think we used to be able to edit pages like that ourselves. Don't think we can any more, so it's a case of filing a ticket and waiting for someone to have time to do it.

Thank you, joe71. Thank you for reading 😘X Yes, maybe it's about nomenclature as much as anything. I could certainly devise a ‘Tim Burtonesque’ story which would probably fit the genre, if I closed my eyes really tight and thought for long enough. 🤣X

Looks like you did! Congratulations on getting a story put together, and a nice steamy one at that.

Thanks to Krystalg for reviewing my last-minute entry so promptly. 😘X I wasn’t sure about this comp, and still think the comps should be more thematic, but I’ve stiffened my sinews and entered. If you read it, I hope you enjoy my bleak, Cyberpunk London. 🤣X

Usually, the Competition themes are pretty tight and well-defined. This one, by design, opened up any genre so long as it had the proper Punk elements, and yours definitely did.

Am I a good witch, or a bad witch? History will decide

How does one find the current competition entries? I never paid much attention to competition entries but as I have begun to follow a few of the competitors my interest has grown.

Just out of curiosity, how long does contest judging typically take? I read a few entries and now I'm invested. 😉

The comp page says announcement on June 12, so Monday. But I've seen that run over before when there's a lot of entries or the length is high. Usually 1-2 weeks in my experience, occasionally longer, so June 12 seems on par and probable.

The security cam was supposed to catch porch pirates, but instead it launched Tyler and Wendy on a new erotic journey.

Thanks! See, I skipped all of the useful information and went straight to the stories. 😜

Best approach, really, unless you're actually entering.😊 Most of the useful information is mainly of importance to authors (deadline, length limit, oddball rules like having to have certain words or images).

I like that in storiesspace where you have to include specific words in the entry sonetimes

That's always a fun challenge, eh. They didn't do that with the current one (one week to go to the deadline, by the way).

Results tomorrow (13th). Sorry, worked kicked my ass today.

Congratulations to lupus and the shythespian, both stories were very enjoyable. May I ask who the first place winner was? It’s showing as blank on my phone. Thanks.
