What do people think is the main driver of # of views on someone's profile page?

A) Number of stories published
B) Quality of stories published
C) Time spent by profile owner in Chat room
D) Contribution of profile owner to Forums
E) Time spent on Live cams

Or other...?
It will be a combination of all of the above, but I use the forums a lot and I also write so I cannot say how using just one of those options would work. I do not use chat rooms or live cam at all. I have had a profile on here for ten years, however, I've only been (highly) active the past six weeks, posting 13 chapters and using the forums. My profile views have subsequently gone up from around 1000 to above 4000.
it has a lot to do with visibility. if you're active here, people are going to get curious, so lots of stories, interesting forum posts, being a fun presence in a chat room. i'll also be really upfront about on particular aspect - women are going to get more views than guys. it's just how it is. also, if you're still rocking the red and white avatar, that's going to draw less interest than if you have something interesting and/or sexy.

...and I'm still waiting for yours, sweet lips! At least mine are plastered all over the site! Voila' 100K+ page views in 6 years. Liz was right! smile
I would say all of the above, but, perhaps most importantly, fill out your profile. Doesn't have to be YOUR picture, but have an avatar that represents YOU somehow. Nothing turns me off more than a person with basic red Lush male or female background, minimal, if any, information in their profile. Even better if you fill something in every field. The more complete profiles get more looks in my experience. Writing stories helps too. The problem with the forums is they can work both ways. They have a tendency to be contentious and divisive with the result that you become an "enemy" for one side or the other. Or, you get addicted to mindless forum games that simply build-up your forum post numbers without actually meaning anything. Chat rooms, on the other hand, have a tendency to bring like-minded people together. The danger is that in many rooms, you have those clics that often restrict membership from entering or staying. Plus, you have to have the ability to devote significant chunks of time to the chat rooms to get known and liked. With a job requiring 60-80 hours/week normally and a 3-mont-old daughter at home, I find devoting that kind of time prohibitive for me.

Hmmm. My historical number of views actually went down when I did that. Apparently people figured out how to unsee my page. Is that even possible? Better idea for guys - use an avatar that looks something like this:

You'll get a lot of friend requests and BB messages from guys you've never heard of, and possibly some unsolicited dick pics and lewd proposals (because horny guys don't read your profile) but you will get a lot more page views...
My profile views are now over 115,000. I've been here on Lush since June 2012. So it took me 8 years to get here. I can only assume most of my profile views are due to my stories. When one is prolific they tend to get more views.
My Novel of a Profile gets plenty of views.

I'm active all over Lush and will visit the mobile site as well.
It’s a combination of all of the above it helps to be an active member of lush ive had around 31000 visitors to profile and ive been here almost 5 years now. I have noticed that female members tend to higher number of visitors to their page and male member tend to get. I believe that most of mine are down to my stories and forums post.

For the past few months I’ve been using Instagram and been using the site to post my photography . Here’s the link to my profile

Other: titties, juicy hardcore sex stories, cartoon avatars, funny jokes, pictures of sexy nekkid women, pictures of Sprite!
I'm still surprised I've got as many profile views as I have, since there are others who've been here longer than me or have a higher "profile" as admin/mods.

I suppose it's a bit of all the things the original poster mentioned. I have written a fair number of stories (though not as many as some), and some of them have had a lot of views (though again not as many as some). I can't comment on the quality, but some have had RRs and ECs (though not always the same ones that have had a lot of views).

I don't spend much time in the chat rooms these days, though I did when I was new here. And I do post fairly regularly in the forums, though mostly in the sexy/funny threads. And sorry, I never spend time on Live Cams!

Other things I do is have a full profile page, which I admit is written in order to titillate as well as inform (that's not to say it isn't true, though). I've got some pictures in both my image gallery and the photo albums, which gives people something to look at.

I also wonder if something as simple as having a good username and avatar pic is helpful. That way someone new who sees one of my forum posts (however vacuous it may be) will be tempted to click on my page link. And that's one more page view straight away...

Roger is right I'm sure that being female helps.

03 January 2025 - Why not start the year with a bit of smut by your favourite Lush author? Or if not, try my latest instead. The Jogger And The Flasher | Lush Stories Please read, comment and maybe give it a ❤️ - or even a⭐ if you really enjoy it! Thank you! Annie xxx

I have no idea if 11,675 since 2017 is a lot or a little. I only occasionally visit the chat or forums and don't interact much in either. I have published a fair amount of stories since I came back after two years away. I put a lot of B&W images in my gallery, but they seem to repel as much as entice. I guess it's a mix.
Free blowjobs for anyone that vists my page.

Quickly amends original post. Free foof kisses and blowjobs for anyone that visits my page.

C.K.C. What was that question again

It suddenly occurs to me, is there some point to profile visits besides a feeling of Gee, I'm popular? It's not like you know who they are or why they are there. I've never had anyone reach out about it, but that's probably just a measure of me. Have anyone?

Its a really good point. Do profile views drive story views or do story views drive profile views? I think its the latter, but I've been on this site all of a few months so take that speculation with a grain of salt...
