Ever stop to think that you're the cause for your wife's weight gain? Your shitty attitude and constant asides aimed at her are why she eats. Also, have more respect, your children's lives literally would not exist without her. She carried them around for the shittier part of a year and then blasted them out in one of the most painful ways possible. Have some respect for that 'over-weight and scarred' body, it's beautiful.

I came across this thread and I was both shocked and happy to see the great comments that were made. Women already get shit from all forms of media about how we “should” look. Pile on top of all that, women give birth, our hormones don’t exactly help us with weigh loss, and you have guys with less than perfect bodies expecting women to fulfill their fantasies. How about guys fulfill our fantasies? Take responsibility for more work inside the home. Even if you’re tired, women get tired too, yet we still get shit done.
Relationships take work. Women need to know we’re e valued. Talking with us, actively listening, smiling flirtatiously at her, telling her she’s beautiful, or that you love her smile. Communication and honesty are so important.
I read about people who cheat or who say horrible shit about not being attracted to their wife anymore—the mother of their children. It really hurts to know that kind of shit is happening. And it just confirms my thoughts that men really do only want the young girls with the perfect bodies.
So, just to reiterate, I loved all the positive comments supporting the wife. She has definitely earned that support and I hope she and the children are happy.
