I also see where those nude ones are put in "friends only" albums. So.... obviously both ways are perfectly fine. With this in mind, I put ONE personal shot in my "friends only" album, but then decided to put that same one out in the open as well. HOWEVER, today I deleted it from in the open and kept it in the "friends only" album.
I guess what I am saying is that I am a bit torn on the matter. I am not ashamed of my body, or any part of it. But I am not sure which direction I want to (or should) go with all that.

Ok, I have surfed around a LOT here (I love to profile surf), and what I have found is that in spite of what folks posted above, the vast majority of people DO post nude in the open and that is both for men and women. And another thing I have found is that those who DO, tend to have the most "friends" here. HOWEVER.... In the forums, however, it is a different matter. People generally want to see a certain size and shape, and ridicule people who are my size and shape when pictures of them are posted. Those poses that get laughed at would get wanked over if the body shown in it was what people on Lush overwhelmingly want to see.
The pictures that I dared to post are available only to a very small group of friends, in order for me to learn to be a little more confident about myself, and to discover where my boundaries are. I have pushed them way beyond what I dreamed I could manage. I even had to ask two girl mates to check if I was setting myself up for a fall before posting them. I didn't advertise their presence, either. They are there if those certain friends are interested enough to discover them.
I didn't do it for comments and ego-stroking. I just wanted to see if I could learn to feel sexy and more comfortable about the piece of crap I feel I am. There is only one picture I thought better of, and removed it. I was worrying about it, which was not the point. Boundary found.
I decided very recently that I don't want to explore my album further for fear of being ridiculed. I don't think that those people who have access to the album would say anything mean to me, but I know what they will be thinking, and it's too upsetting and worrisome to me to try and push myself any further.
