Watched this and it was brilliant. Can't believe I hadn't seen it.
Outlaw King has been getting decent reviews.

From the trailer, it looks like it has improved on some of Braveheart's more blatant historical inaccuracies. (Except the fire arrows). Can we please stop with the fire arrows? I know they look good from a cinematographic point of view, but come on...

I believe this will be the biggest release from Netflix, but I kind of wish I could see it in the theater. I hate theaters, but this seems like a threater-worthy movie.
The Shape of Water. Not sure it deserved the Academy Award for Best Picture, but it definitely was interesting.

Oh I really enjoyed this. I was surprised how good it was.

I agree. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri should have won.
I watched Hold The Dark on Netflix last night and I was left annoyed. Maybe if I read the book I would like it more, but I don't see that happening.

I have a new story out! Wish You Were Here A teasing sub may I have pushed too far, but the punishment is oh so sweet.

If you haven't already, please check out my story with leftlingula. A husband and wife rediscovered each other and It all started with one simple word...

PERFECT BIRTHDAY GIFT!!! ??

I was a bit underwhelmed. I think that they gave too much away in the trailer.

I liked Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly (super hot in that wasp suit) but the whole thing seemed a bit lackluster.

Warrior. Good movie. Anything with Tom Hardy in is worth watching.

Tickets booked for Venom this weekend... *dreamy sigh*

It's weird but I was pleasantly surprised smile

Finally! Movie was okay but worth it for the most delicious human.
We finally watched Mother! last night. Three words: what the fuck?
Rogue One : A Star Wars Story. While it's not quite conventional Star Wars, probably one of the best movies in the series in terms of acting, story, etc. Up there with Empire Strikes Back in my books and I say that as a fan of the original trilogy who was disappointed with the prequels. I don't hate on them as much as some fans, but I was disappointed.

Ugh. I did not want to watch this. I did not want to see the “Fish Fuck” movie, as Bill Maher calls it. But I caved yesterday because it was on when I was surfing for something to watch. Ugh. I have so much to say about this movie, but I’ll keep it to two comments. The double or triple entendre of referring to Octavia as ‘the help’ was not appreciated. And this fish fuck movie should NOT have won the Oscar for best picture. Ugh. However, the reverse Little Mermaid metaphor was intriguing, if that’s what it was.

Finally saw the second Sicario movie - Suckcario: Day We Sold Out. Huge disappointment. I guess I should have expected that. Take away some of the key the elements that made first movie great, and waste one of them on the above mentioned movie, and it pales in comparison. Sadly, very, very sadly, the way it ended screams B-movie sequel. Oh please don’t.

Might as well complain about another one. Pacific Rim - Up Rising, which should have been ‘Upchucking’. Damn it. Even my son was pissed off with this movie. If you make a monster movie, don’t wait until more than half the movie is over before the monsters make an entrance. Ugh.

The new Star Wars movies get so much hate, and I don't know why (though I did read an article last week that said Russian bots were stirring up some of the hate and controversy, what a weird time we live in). I like the new ones better than nearly all the old ones (haven't seen Solo yet). Empire Strikes back might still be the best, but the acting and directing and world-building of the new ones FAR exceed any of the other 5 originals.

I STILL HAVE NOT SEEN THIS MOVIE!!! THERE IS NO JUSTICE!!! I've seen the original three times!

I skipped your comment about Shape of Water in case it contains spoilers. I'll try to see it this week.
Phantom Thread

Beautiful film.

Just went and saw First Man last night, it was AMAZING! I learned things about Neil Armstrong I never heard about growing up. I think everyone should try seeing this movie! There’s humor, knowledge, and a tad sadness but overall amazing!

A Star is Born, talk about an emotional roller coaster. Bradley Cooper and Gaga were absolutely incredible!

This is definitely on my movie bucket list! It looks so good and I barely recognized her when I saw the previews plus I absolutely love Bradley Cooper.

I’m currently watching Girls Trip ... AGAIN
