Ok, at first read I thought it was interesting to know, to have a name, but really, it’s just a name for something I already do, right? So, I am writing a story (it’s slow going, because I’m taking my time and actually trying to apply some of the lessons you’ve been kind of enough to post here, and usually, I write fast, but I’m really enjoying taking my time with this one, and I think it’s going to be quite good because of it… I digress…)
so, anyways, I decide to name my characters static traits, and funny thing is? Once I have a name for them? Once I know? It becomes so easy to write a scene, using the knowledge of what drives them each time and wow, it’s amazing how I can just reference that in dialogue, in actions, in pushing the scene forward… and it's consistent as well!
Anyways, my way of saying thank you *hugs*
You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.
....and there I was, worried that I may not learn anything new for today when, Lo the wise Morgan came to my rescue. Nice tip. Many thanks.
