I am sure that this will have been covered under the section on punctuation but some writers seem to get mixed up with the words such as yours and your's or whose and who's. There must be others but those are the two that I notice.
I also agree about the earlier comments re past and present tense, that seems to be another thing that people had a problem with.
It took me a little while - and reading the story out to myself - to get the thing right.
