Privacy Settings should be the same in the chatrooms as it is on out profiles.

I was wondering if or when are the settings in the chatrooms for Age & Location (miles away) going to be hidden from view from other members, for those members who have their privacy settings set as :-
1. Do not allow others to see my age

2. Do not allow others to see how far away they are to me

I have my age and my location set as "Hide", yet in the chatrooms everyone who hovers over my username can see how far away I am (in approximate miles). And they can see my age when the little pop up box shows. I feel this is a breach of my privacy as I have specifically hid these two categories on Lush.

We are hoping for some changes to the chatrooms later this year and hopefully this will be addressed. I have just added this to our 'wishlist'.

Oh, yes, I see your point. Not that it will affect anything, but as an Aussie, the miles so tell me something about location. And you are right if you don't want that known (I'm happy to say Sydney, but I get why others may not be) that should not happen.

Age though, that is a wonderful age, ahead of me
