The issue causing the activity to not show has been fixed. However its been down for a number of days now so there's a rather large backlog to get through.

You should start to see updates trickling in over the next day.

On the timeline page where it shows activity ... When I mark the show friends activity it still doesn't update anything. No worries I just thought someone else might be having the same issue.
I can see the activity when I go to my profile page.
