A Question About Titles

I have been told (by more than one moderator) that every word in my story titles should be capitalized. In other words, the title "Gone With the Wind" should be "Gone With The Wind" when it is a story on Lush.

I am happy to follow this rule, but I was wondering if anyone could share the reason behind this policy.

Please read our latest story.

I understand it was a system/code thing from V1. Sorry, I do speak dev jargon smile

That's what I was told way back when. I still have to double check myself.

'it's convention to capitalise the first letters to keep the site looking uniform.'

Also, I think having every word in capitals like that is called 'Title Case' like when you go in a word document/google doc, and click the format tab and go to change the font, there is an option to change it to 'Title Case' and its starting every word in a sentence with capital letters.

It has something to do with how it affects the display on some devices??? I think that is why. Regardless, most mods will fix that error for you if you miss a capital letter in your title. Unless someone has a plethora of other errors and the story needs to be returned.
