Way more than I can stay asleep for currently. 15 hours a week really doesn't sit well with me

I only get 2-3-4 unless I nap later.

If I get 4 in a row it's a miracle.

I remember a week in December I only got 1 hour of sleep a night.

Sounds like me. I hardly have a sleep pattern really. I suspect that I'm one of those people who have an internal clock that is set to 26 or more hours and therefore have some kind of reset every morning when the alarm goes off.

Actually, I recognize a lot in the description of Delayed sleep phase disorder.

I need 8. I generally get around 5-6. That's why I'm so grouchy all the time. Or so I'm told smile.
About four or five, but sometimes I take naps smile

At my time of life it is rare to sleep more than 3 hours at a stretch, and most nights I get around 5 hours of sleep in total, but I can also catnap during the day, usually after lunch.
7-8 is my standard. Can't remember the last time I slept through an entire night without waking up in the middle, though.
Need 8-9, but get around 5 hours on a good day.
Need 9-10. Has always been that way. Morning are a pain too. Cannot abide having to get up very early every day. Could manage it when I had to, now I don't anymore.

Need? Three to five gets me around consistently, if I can get nine or more once a week. I like six or seven given the choice. Can go for about sixty hours if well rested, well fed and well caffeinated before I start losing it usually.

Most people will be dropping off spontaneously and hallucinated by sixty hours. Happened to me once on a very long shift as a junior surgeon. Started 9.00am Friday . No sleep that night or the next. Had to assist at an emergency on Monday morning 1.00am. Fell asleep at the operating table and was carried out
10 is good. I can just about cope short term on 8/9 hours. If I have time on the weekend 12 is blissful and sets me up for the week
I can function on 5 or less but not for a prolonged length of time and I definitely require naps in the day to give my batteries a little boost.

9 - 10 hours leaves me feeling incredibly refreshed and well rested.
I average about 6 hours per night but love 8. Anything more than 8 and I feel like I haven't slept at all.
An absolute minimum of eight hours - any less and I am one mardy cow (add period pains or being hungry to this and it's pretty dire).

Sunday is reserved for sleeping in, I'll easily sleep for up to 14 hours from Saturday to Sunday and I love it.

In many countries being gay is a crime, and even in modern societies, politicians try to legalise discrimination. Your voice can make a difference. Have a look at All Out to find out how.

Hey... pssst.... that's an l (as in luscious) at the end of my name, not an i
with my work as a PA I need to be ready at most times. generally I get about 6 that I can function at a normal rate.
Need 8, usually get 5-6.

I need 8 hours but I rarely get a full 5 each night. I am forever exhausted.
5-6 is my norm and I function well. I may catch a longer night or two out of the week but that's my norm.
I'd like 8 hours of sleep but mostly get around 6.When I wake up I get up very rarely do I lie around in bed
I think I am best served by 7-8 hours per night, which I rarely get. Usually, I end up in the range of 5.5 - 7. I have a tough time getting up and getting going in the morning. I am not a morning person.
Every week I tell myself I'm going to sleep for 8 hours a night. Every week I end up sleeping about 6 - 6.5 hours per night. I made a conscious effort to increase this to 7 hours, but now I've joined Lush. smile Living in NZ, a lot of stuff happens while I'm asleep, so I've found I now wake up at 5:30am in the morning, and instinctively reach to check my inbox and timeline. ;)

That's probably not healthy, right? :)
As long as it's good quality rest, I can function well on 5 hours. Usually 6 is best
Usually 4 maybe 5, last couple weeks less than that...
