Make up...why?

I like using a little bit of make up. Not a lot, though. I wear it for work, but when I'm hanging out with friends/family or running errands, I tend to use less. I never wear make up working out, though!
I like to wear some makeup on most days, I wear it just to accentuate my features some, I normally just put on some blush and mascara; I don't have the patience for eyeshadow and eyeliner etc. It is fun to play around with sometimes and let's you be creative. My goal of makeup is to make it look like I'm not wearing any, I go for the natural look and only wear neutral colors
My BF hates me wearing make up. We met in a walking group, so we were sweaty / natural and that's the way he likes me ;)
I can easily leave the house without makeup. but I find I get better tips at work when I wear makeup ;)
I wear a little bit of makeup, usually just to add some color... other than that just mascara. I've never been a fan of wearing a ton of makeup
I don't really ever wear makeup ...if I do decide to its only mascara and lip gloss and every once in a bluemoon I will add eyeliner
Makeup makes me feel confident, I'm not comfortable to go out wearing no makeup, That doesn't mean i have it caked on my face all the time, I go for the minimal amount just to hide any imperfections etc. It's like i feel put together with it on, the only people who see my bare face are my partner, parents and siblings.
If I decide to wear makeup all I do is just eyeliner and mascara to really bring out my eyes and lip gloss

It's not about loads, but for me it's 2 important things.

I've only ever used m.a.c. russion red lipstick, and their studio fix compact does all the magic one could need, no other compares.
I can't do lipgloss at all, sticky lipgloss puts me right off. I dont like to feel any lip product on my lips.

ОH, my god! Lady, is this how the mac lipstick really looks?

Come again?? Care to clarify what you're on about? Makes no sense.
On your post, there was a picture of perfectly painted lips. I asked if this is how the MAC lipstick looks for real. smile

I know you weren't talking to me, but yes, the MAC lipstick in Russian Red really does look like that (I have it myself). Russian Red is one of their deeper shades of red.

Re red lipstick in general, Ruby Woo is a nice one by MAC as well that works with literally any skin tone. Lots of people are tentative when it comes to red lipstick, but Ruby Woo is just one of those reds that you can't go wrong with.

i ADORE makeup! i wear it to work because it makes me feel polished. i wear it out because it makes me feel glam. i wear it with my pajamas cos it makes me feel girly lol i'm at an age where i no longer hide behind my makeup and truly view it as an accessory and NOT a necessity.

Say. Her. Name.

The older I get the more important makeup has become
I wear make up to work or for a date. Other than that it is just moisturizer and lip gloss.
I love make-up. Like most people have mentioned I go for a more natural look through the day. I tend to use Bobbi Brown or bareMinerals products a lot. I do cheat and have my eyebrows and lashes tinted for quickness and easiness. Usually, through the day it's normally just to accentuate features, etc. (Or make me look like I'm awake!) I love mascara and nude lipgloss.

When it's time to "glam it up" I go for darker shades, smoky eyes and red lips. Love my Nars lipgloss! Makes me feel good.

This year is the first time I've worn make-up on a regular basis. And by that I mean eye shadow and mascara. I don't usually wear make-up, but as I'm not working as a middle school teacher this year, I want to show my girls you don't need to wear 50 lbs of make-up to be pretty. I don't like to wear much more as it's more of a hassle than it's worth.

Now, if I'm going out on a "date night" with my hubby... I'll go all out. Can't do the eyeliner as it causes a reaction (why I have no idea) but I will do the rest.

Truthfully, my hubby doesn't care if I wear make-up or not... he knows I do it for me to feel pretty, but he feels I'm beautiful as is.
I've always been allergic to all makeup so I never wear it.

Only when someone's getting married, dead, or I'm performing on stage.

The ancient Greeks were right. Less IS more and natural is always best.
There is something noticeably powerful about make-up. I can wear more or less depending on my mood. I don't do the gob up lady gaga look, not on a daily basis however, I noticed it does have an impact when I put a bit of effort adding color to my lips and face.
When I modeled, I learned make-up was necessary because the camera sees everything. Now, in my thirties, there's getting to be more and more flaws to conceal!

Though not everything that could be concealed is a flaw, and hiding away these laugh lines and small wrinkles that tell stories of intensity and depth is a bit of a sin in my eyes. I've always found that makeup should be used to enhance rather than conceal (unless there's this ugly pimple that appeared just to punish us for the bar of chocolate we needed to soothe our nerves on the day before the big date...)
I wear makeup on a nearly daily basis.Although not that much, in all probably 6 products. I wear it as I feel it makes a better me and more confident, no red marks, scars etc. However, after a day at work, first thing that comes off, the makeup.
I really wear very little make-up, a light base, eye shadow and lipstick. Sometimes I will add eye liner, and darker eye shadow if I am going out. And I do it for me!!
Minimal is my style. I use it very occasionally.
I love make up and always have lipstick and lip gloss
Have lots of fun

You still look like your'e in your twenties. I bet you have great genes and/or know how to take care of your skin.
