I think if almost all men exaggerate their penis size, it might be because they don't want to feel inadequate to what then becomes "the norm" - the exaggeraters then pushing up the average dick size from 5-6 inches to what is perceived by a lot of men to be a more normal 7, 8 or even 8 inches plus.
