I sleep on the left side of the bed and have to sleep on that side because the nerve damage in my right shoulder means that I'm unable to roll onto my right side in a properly controlled way and as a result fall out of bed constantly if I sleep on the right side.

In the rare occasions when I sleep with someone, I make sure I take the part that has easier exit... It takes me ages to fall asleep and I can wake up a lot during the night, so I want to make sure I can get out and go to the kitchen, the bathroom or wherever without waking up the other person.
