The term, IIRC, originally referred to college guys getting jiggy with their buddies' mothers but as written "Mothers I'd like to F***" doesn't really reference that. So, to have a college age kid, you'd have to be in your thirties but if it's just "Mothers", then, yeah, anyone with kids regardless of age. Certainly, the MILF in my recent comp entry would be thirties-ish or even forties-ish (she's loosely based on a real woman I babysat for eons ago who would have been late thirties or early forties at the time).

I think that a MILF would be about mid 30s and older as she must be old enough to have a child that was old enough to have friends that would want to fuck said MILF. However, a MILF could really be any hot mother, regardless of age. I tend to think of the terms MILF and cougar to be pretty interchangeable (assuming said cougar is also a mother) but there are exceptions of course.

I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?

I agree. I think the term signifies an older woman, at least mid-30s. But I've seen the term applied to women in their early 20s, which made me think it was being too broadly used. The thought of an older woman seducing a younger guy can be kind of hot, but I've never been particularly turned on by just the knowledge that a woman had given birth at some point.

i always assumed a milf was thirty plus. hmm, i would guess the highest age range would be mid to late forties? doesn't a woman become a cougar after that? i don’t think the term only applies to women with children because, much to my chagrin, i've been referred to as one. just my My 2 cents

I would imagine it can be anyone who is a mother who someone wants to fuck.

More often than not though it is a term used by horny teenage boys who fancy their friend's mum so I think usually the term would be for a woman who has a child in their teens.

I first learned the term in high school, when some friends would admire the younger mothers of kids who attended the school (say kindergarten and a bit older). So, those women were probably in their mid 30's, to or late teens. I'd say that counted; at least it did to us!

Fully agree with one and three. A GILF however has no strict minimum age. Being a grandmother isn't defined by age, but by having grandchildren. So if a woman gave birth at eighteen to someone, who in turn became a parent at eighteen, she can be a 36 year old GILF

Edit: Out of curiosity, I googled youngest grandma. It turns out, the youngest grandmother on record, Mum-Zi from Nigeria, was just 17 when she became a grandmother. So that's how young a GILF can be.

I'd say any woman with a teenage (16+) child can be classed as a MILF. A woman without children, yes, but she'd probably have to be 40+(?) No upper limit.

1) any woman who has had a child is a MILF. id still say over 21 though.

2) maximum age for a MILF is around mid 40's then she becomes a cougar. (every woman over 45 children or not is considered a cougar.)

3) yes she needs to have children otherwise she's not a mother.

For me, a MILF is in her 30-40s, cougar is in early 50s and a GILF is over 60.

I think the teenage (16+) child part is the key. I don't consider 18-year-olds with a newborn to be MILFs. But in 16 years, they'd be 34, which seems about the right age for that status.

I'd say a MILF is in her 30s to 40s... That being said a cougar is a specific group of women... Definitely in her 40s, but she is only interested in men in their 20s...

A MILF is one of those movable object type terms.

Yes, in the strictest sense (as pointed out by some), any 'mother' who you'd 'like to fuck' is a 'MILF', but we all know that the acronym shouldn't be taken literally. In reality, it's just meaning an older woman that you'd quite like to fuck. So, where as when I was a teenage boy perhaps a woman in their 20's would be a milf, it would now mean someone in their late 30's/forties- and this could be with or without children.

I wouldn't consider a mother at 25 to be a 'MILF', whether or not I would or would not like to fuck them.

That being said, I wouldn't really refer to anyone as a 'MILF' because I was born in the 80's and am not an American.
