1st time always painful or bleed

having read a number of "first time" stories they all seem to have the same theme-it was initially painful and she bled.
thinking back to my first time with a woman(girl) who claimed to be a virgin-we experienced neither-I'm just wondering how unusual or unique was that or as she said, she lost it "horseback riding(4 legged kind).

The hymen, a thin piece of tissue just inside the entrance of the vagina, is sometimes congenitally absent entirely; it can also be so minimal as to not be torn during sex. Additionally it can be stretched through activities (tennis, horseback riding), sexual activity (fingering), and in a multitude of other ways not be an obstruction enough to the penis to tear or cause pain. So your girlfriend was likely telling the truth, and may well have been as disappointed as you were at the lack of "show".

I don't recall any pain and certainly no bleeding.

I really don't enjoy first time stories that cling to this. I'm sure it's true for some women but to me it's just a tired trope in erotica writing. My novel that's in progress is a first time for Viette (main character) and I absolutely refused to write it that way.

I think it fills a basic male fantasy. It's tangible proof that he was 'first' and that she was willing to endure it because of her desire or love for him. It certainly does permeate erotic first time stories, admittedly even my own.

I will say that this was how my own (limited) experience was. I've only taken one woman's virginity, but it did indeed include a bit of pain and bleeding. I've spoken to other lovers and friends about it though, and many of them have told me that they were so into it that they barely noticed the sting or that the blood wasn't much more than spotting.

Anything more than that is beyond my personal experience.
