Good day. I tried the new chat briefly on my iPhone this morning. On the old chat while in a room, you used to be able to select a photo or gif to post from your last 150 or so recently uploaded items in your personal albums. That feature seems to have been eliminated and now you can only select items to post from Public albums. I didn’t see a way to post anything from Private albums. These are show stoppers for me. Comments? Thank you.

Both are the same issue.

Please kindly remember that the new version of Chat is still in Beta Testing. Once the new Chat is taken out of Beta and goes live properly, this will be resolved - along with a heap of other hidden bonus features/easter eggs (not the chocolate kind, "booooo, hisss!!!") we want you all to find for yourselves.

Nothing wrong with old chat. New chat inferior in general UX

might be nice in an iPhone or iPad, sucks on a laptop. Make it an option, not the way of future chat on lush

I'm having trouble joining a private room using the beta chat.

Hi I’m having trouble when I post an image to chat. This happens in the old and new chat. I get a multiple image appearing like this… and it annoys everyone including me.

A blocked member can still interact (@mention) with me in the beta version despite having been included in the Block list in my Privacy Settings. It looks like the block was disabled for some reason because it gave me the option to block. I've blocked the bloke again from the Chatroom. His name is still in my block list.

Edit: I recall it's a couple of them. Another blocked bloke from weeks ago PMed me whom I reported. The recent one aforementioned was days ago. Both were in my Block list.

At some point today the V2 beta chatroom software will go live and become the default when you click on the Chatroom link in the red banner or take the link in the OP in this thread. However, please continue to report, by way of a post in this thread, feedback etc. and please do not raise a support ticket unless it is an urgent or perhaps sensitive issue.

The posting of recent pic/gif additions is still not there and you still can’t select pics/gifs from private folders. I often use a phone so copying and pasting from your own private folders is next to impossible. As someone who posts a lot, this is effectively making chat unavailable for me entirely.

Just wondering about the sending of pictures from private albums? They don’t seem to be an option. Many thanks

My notification sound is not working.

Only 2 minor complaints private pictures and chat sounds don't seem to be working but like the new layout easier to see and navigate imo

Really sucks the old is better private pics gone and you have to start from the beginning of pics and fumble through 20 folders to send one pic every pic you send...you need new peogrammers...i dont think ill stay this really sucks i may dispute lifetime membership and find another site...SUCKS!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure that they employ peogrammers, maybe that's the issue!

On the side of your device there is likely a volume control knob... probably next to the tuning one... have you tried turning that up?

I am finding I can join a room (eg LGBTQ) Before I Join that room I can 11 people in there. However, when I get in there are no other chatters showing, and the room says zero users.

What am I doing wrong?

Sectioning up the albums so that you can access your plethora of 2k porn pics from multiple albums is a far better option than having only a certain number of pics available from all albums in one big list.

The number of pics available from one album is something I am sure the programmers will be able to adjust with little to no issue.

Previously to set up a private chat room for myself and a nonpaying member was quite easy. It seems now that once I set it up the no paying member cannot see the new room. Is this a system bug or is there a procedure for them to see it?

I've attempted to use the rooms today and have experienced serious lag, to click a profile, view a room, even typing let alone waiting for images to load. It is making it infuriating to talk to anyone in the chat room. For clarity I'm a mobile user, using a pixel 8 pro and attempts have been with phone signal and with wifi

Yes I tried that ...didn't work ...others are saying they have no sound also ...ty for the reply though!!

I have no sound on my Iphone/laptop/desktop, all running chrome.

RE sounds: Can you confirm you have the sounds slider switched over to the right?

My sounds work fine with no issue - sounds like a "pop" followed by Sonic colecting rings.
