For me, the real art of being submissive involves submitting, in front of or with someone else, to your own desires. It's less about truly submitting to the other's desires and needs ( tho that is important) than about fully revealing your own - and allowing someone else to ram around in your head, exploring those 'rooms' even you are scared to go into.
