Tattoos are sexy imo, the only thing that turns me off is when its taken a little too far and your searching for a spot of bare skin. But definately sexy when done tastefully, like most things in life i suppose.
People will tell you that you will regret it in 40 yrs when its all wrinkly, but in 40 yrs my tattoo will be the least of my wrinkle worries...

I personally think a well done tattoo that has meaning to the person it is on is brilliant. When I am slightly older I am planning on getting a couple done, although only by a decent artist. The main thing is make sure you like the design and if need be, get it designed and then wait a while before getting it tattooed onto you smile

That being said you will get people who say its trashy etc. What matters is what you think. I have a back piece, very simple but holds meaning for me. If people don't like it thats their problem. My only advice is decide what you want and then wait one year. If at the end of the year you don't want it anymore it will be a good thing that you didn't. If you still want it then go for it.
