Just curious but has happened often enough for me to ask the forum. Why do men like women in costumes - maid, schoolgirl, comic book characters etc? Don't get me wrong, I have happily indulged the requests even if I found them silly because seeing him turned on makes me feel sexy. Is it because somewhere men never grow-up and have that boy in them? Or is it that these childhood experiences manifest sexually as men mature? Looking forward to what you gents have to say or if any women out here have their opinions?
Yes it's fantasy of coarse. Ordinary life becomes boring & some people like to fantasize. Some people take it to extremes, but as long as no one gets hurt or injured or even killed for that matter. I see nothing wrong with it.
Some men fantasise about it, others enjoy the the role-play, but personally, it just makes the person in the costume looks/feel sexier. I've been in a costume for another man, and I did feel sexy in it. I've also had another person be in a costume and it made them look sexier.
Some of it is the role-play aspect. But depending on the costume it could simply be how sexy they may look in it.
Saw one girl in a Laura Croft outfit this Halloween, I've never played the games or watched the movies (I'm probably one of the few men that isn't all that attracted to Angelina Jolie), but this girl had the general exotic look of the character. So that with the short shorts and small tight tank top that revealed her full midriff.... I'm a sucker for a good toned stomach on a woman.

Put a burlap sac on a hot chick and I will think it's sexy. So when you get a cool sexy chick with the personality that will put on funny/sexy/different clothes for you then it's all aboard on the orgasm train.
For me, it is a role play fantasy world with endless possibilities. Especially how a lot of the uniforms are made to accentuate the female figure. I guess part of it stems also from having a crush on several women characters such as Daisy Duke, Wonder Woman, and Cat Girl when I was younger.
I think has to do with for filling a fantasy. Because men are more visual, they need to see things in order to be turned on.
For us it's the fantasy role play aspect that fires the imagination. :-)
Pardon me for interrupting Girl, but what makes you think this is only a male thing? I've known many women who want the guys to dress up for role play. And what woman doesn't buy clothes for the guy she likes? It's the same thing. There's no difference at all in that. And I would also point out that we live in the Enlightened Age of Political Correctness (pause here while trumpets sound) so stereotyping men as immature and suggesting they "never grow up" is merely encapsulating them in negative stereotypes based on biased preconceptions. Ergo, you are guilty of misandry and must now be ostracized according to elevated and enlightened customs of our times while men line up to state how offended they are at how you debased them.
The same reason why women love to see men in different attires. Its all about sexual image and what pleases the eye to see your mate in most.

I think it's all about expressing yourself with your partner, finding different ways to please each other visually as well.
It's an adult version of 'dress ups' and a hell of a lot of fun exploring each other in a different 'role'.

costumes can be fun and changes things up find the right one and things can really heat up.
I love costumes but not 100% sure what the reason is.
Clearly, that they are often slutty, tight, revealing etc is an easy reason to speak of but then other clothes can be too, so I am wondering why the costume in particular.
It might be, in part, that a nurses uniform (for example) is going to be a slutty caricature of the real thing but when available online for, say $50, it's easier than sourcing the real thing.
Certainly though, nurses in real life do appeal to men because of the hands-on nature of their job, ie. they are permitted to do things to their customers which a receptionist is generally not allowed to do, and in that there is a kink.
Mind you, men are pretty one dimensional creatures and I struggle to think of a uniform/costume that men wouldn't get hot under the collar for, for some reason or another.
