I'm putting number one but am not sure. I keep thinking about how to break it without a major upset. After all, it's been my secret for seven years now and the realization that I had this other life might be a problem or a revelation. I certainly don't see her joining, but she might let me stay once she saw it. And it hopefully would open some doors, including perhaps a reboot of our sex life (which has been on hold for probably 3 years now).

It would cause a great degree of upset and not entirely sure how it would end. I certainly couldn’t see my wife joining as sex is supposed to be not spoken about and kept behind closed doors.

I doubt that she'd be upset knowing I was reading erotic stories. She's found me looking at porn on several occasions, and while it's a little embarrassing and awkward, it's not really a big deal. My social game on LS is limited to none, and I haven't been looking outside the marriage for any kind of sexual or emotional connection (either online or in person). The most problematic thing, I think, is that some of the stories I've written might not land very well with her since they were inspired by fantasies about other people we know.

Wow I read the replies on this page & some guys are going thru the same thing I am. Our sex life is dull if it happens at all. I joined Lush for the freedom to be myself & not have to hide from what I feel. My wife does not know I am on here & she'd be mad if she found out.... Couldn't imagine the outcome but I would probably shut down for a little bit.

Well, my wife told me I was expendable after she'd learned of my appetite for reading and writing erotic stories. We agreed to separate and I went on to make myself a new life. After being without me a while she now acts like she wants everything to go back to where it was before we agreed on the separation. I prefer being separated but I still make time for her and our family except in the bedroom because I never stay with ANYONE once they tell me I'm expandable. After reading the other posts on this blog I feel we're all in the same boat as to why we're here in the first place. I'm in the first year of the seventh decade of my life and I too - like someone else who posted recently - still have a teenage mentality when it comes to my libido. In face, I'm better now than I ever was in my teens and twenties in most every way except for a few aches and pains that creep up on me now and then. I will stay married as lone as my wife wants us to be but I will never make love with her again. It has been 4 years and I haven't missed that part of my life one bit. But I do love the family we've built.
