I've never been the first, but I have been the second at least once. I do enjoy being a mentor, but I have never even thought about deflowering a virgin. Actually at this point in my life, it sounds kind of creepy.

I think that sex with a virgin just requires a little patience, making her comfortable, finding out what arouses her and then proceeding at a pace that won't pressure her. Giving her an oral orgasm first would be my preference.

Virginity is a state of being, like being tall or red headed. It however can be changed rapidly, unlike height. To be with a virgin is a responsibility because so many of our patterns of response are set by those first experiences. Shame, though. The question has much deeper implications asked in a broader sense, embracing (so to speak) both hetero and non hetero experiences. I wouldn't say it's good or bad as I'm not a fan of framing it that way. What I will say is at my age, I prefer the woman to not be a virgin. I tried to take a young lady's virginity once when I was 23, and it didn't work at all. Not a road I am ever likely to travel again.
