Been a few times, years ago always either for things like a friend's bachelor party (nicer clubs) or a group of us on business trips/conventions (kinda sleazy airport-type places, before Memphis got cleaned up some). It was okay, the nicer ones had very attractive dancers, the sleazier ones had some nasty ladies a lot of illicit stuff going on. I guess I'm too shy or reserved to get drunk, loud, grabby, and crude, so it was more of a "satisfy my curiosity" thing for me, not anything I could really get into or would ever go to on my own.

I have been to strip clubs all over the country and world. I've dated topless dancers, and were friends with several others in Hawaii, Texas and San Diego , in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Most were younger, making money to go to school. Some were a little older and used the money to supplement their income. Back then it wasn't nearly as bad as I think it has become. But topless clubs are in a whole different world than full nude clubs. I've been to both but never dated an all nude dancer.
Lap dances are great at good high class clubs. I have no issues with them, I've had many, mostly very good experiences.
When I was much younger they were exciting to go to. But after many across the country they hold no allure for me. Same thing different town is all.
My first time in a strip club, on a stag night, was one of the most ridiculously hot experiences of my life. Watching girls dance on stage does nothing for me, but a one on one lap dance with a girl with a little charisma and confidence was surprisingly intimate and insanely erotic.

Strip clubs are most fun when you go with your spouse and some other couples. Don't do it cheap either, go to the more upscale strip clubs.
I started frequenting gentlemen's clubs while on business travels. Quality depends on the local, for example Dallas and Miami are well known, have an abundance of clubs, and are more open in terms of house rules and what's enforced or not. They run the gamut from small and sleezy to more ritzy with nice settings and higher quality entertainers. I found the most enjoyable to be when the gals will actually take time to chat and socialize with their clientele rather than just trying to hustle for dances. Typically those that take the time will find that guys are more generous with their spend and more likely to take a VIP session. One thing guys need to remember is that they're are rules, and if you're looking for "action", there may be some secretively, but more likely you'll find you dropped cash and got all worked up without getting the real relief you may have been hoping for.
I worked in a Gentleman's Club, a Private club with a fee to be a member. Sure I met some jerks and then I met some nice shy and lonely guys. Many were nice to me.

Also part of the winnings was the offer to get in the rotation with the other strippers. I accepted and danced in several rotations. I was very surprised at the amount of tips I got.

I felt the need to post an update as I've since visited a strip club.
It was a little intimidating, a bit underwhelming, and overly crowded. A few of the girls came on strong to me as soon as I entered, trying to get me to buy a dance, but I wasn't interested in either of them. I watched a few of the shows on the main stage and a few private ones in VIP and enjoyed the performances. The moves were impressive, as I expected them to be, and some of the women were absolutely gorgeous.
I ended up posting up to the bar and chatting up the full-nude bartender, discussing our favorite whiskeys and best concerts.
