1. Because underwear is very uncomfortable for us. They restrict us and are too tight,
2. Boxers, are comfortable, give reasonable support, but let our package to be free.
3. Briefs are for when you need support...kinda like compression shorts if your playing soccer.

Boxers 100% of the time for underwear, unless i'm playing a soccer which i use compression shorts. Other than that its bathing suit or nude

Boxer-briefs. For some reason I just don't like not feeling like I'm not wearing something under my pants. So they allow for both the support of briefs and the comfort of boxers I find.
