she was 9 years older than me.

8yrs. I'm 25 and she's 17yrs old.

I think my biggest age difference was I was 17 and she was 16, we were in high school. Not very impressive compared to others here ... biggest age difference I've had was seven years, a drunken encounter with a seventeen year old girl when I was 24. For the record, she pursued me, not that it would have excused me had it been illegal. The next morning I panicked a bit and looked up the age of consent in the state where I was living. Much to my relief, it was 16 there. I have also lived in states where it was 18, and I would have been guilty of a crime.

If I were single I'd be open to a wide range of ages for sexual encounters. It's harder for me to imagine truly forming a romantic bond and having a serious relationship with anyone quite a few years outside my own age range, though, because our experiences of the world would have been so different. As an Xer I tend to drop a lot of cultural references that younger Millennials, Zoomers or older Boomers wouldn't likely get.

My wife is a few years older than me (we are both in our 40s), but in the unlikely and hypothetical event I was ever looking for someone it would likely be someone 10-15 years older as I find older women very attractive.

To me, age is just a number. It depends on the person. I have sex with women as much as 32 years younger, and as much as 11 years older. As far as best feature, it varied from each one, but ass, legs and feet are what I look at first.

I still don't get why stuff like this is state-level. In Canada it's federal and it is 16 (with a provision that if the couple are both under 16 or within two years of each other, there's an exemption to avoid criminalizing teen sexual exploration).

I am married to someone 9 years older. In terms of younger, I have probably been with women around 10-15 years younger when I was playing around with escorts (they often lie about age so hard to tell for sure), though the first one I was with was around my age.
